24.01.2022 Well a lot can happen in a few days If you’re head has stopped spinning trying to keep up with the news, you’ll by now be aware that lockdown for SA is ending in 4.5 hours! which means... Embellish Beauty will be reopening on Monday 23rd November! We’ve been busy contacting the clients affected by the 3 days we were closed so hang tight if you haven’t been contacted yet. ... We will be open for retail sales on Monday as well if you need to stock up on your faves as we go into another booked out week! And if you’re after some stocking fillers.. may we recommend the @al.ive_body hand and surface sanitiser! It smells amazing, is all natural and looks pretty too! It’s also the perfect size for your handbag and only $19 It’s important to note that all of our therapists and team will be wearing masks and clients will be required to use hand sanitiser as they enter the salon. Our usual infection control measures will be in full force as the safety of our clients and team are our priority. Please reschedule if you are feeling unwell, have been required to self isolate or quarantine in the last two weeks or have recently undertaken a Covid 19 test. 22.01.2022 What are the lessons you want to remember from this time? As we all continue on what seems to be a never ending rollercoaster... Its safe to say we’ve all learnt a lot about ourselves and others this year. True colours are shown when we are under pressure, as is our strength. A strength we never knew we had. ... Resilience, kindness, the ability to adapt and also to ability to just be still are some of the things that have really come to focus in 2020 (still working on the ‘being still’ part ). The importance and the impact of supporting local and the power of community have always been important to us but have really had an enormously positive impact on us at Embellish. 22.01.2022 Just heading out to celebrate NYE and surviving the year that was 2020. What a year it has been! Only 1 year in business then covid hit, we had a 3 month shut down, the building then went up for sale and we had to fight to keep our shop... so it’s been a big year... but if we got through that, we feel we are prepared for anything better, wiser and stronger and with a little more gratitude for the simple things. Sometimes you realize all you work hard for with such passion, in... times like this can be taken away so easily for some. We know lots of businesses in the area didn’t survive the shutdown and our hearts go out to them... not only in business we know so many of our clients that have had the toughest year and our hearts break for you. 11.01.2022 Skincare Tip Tuesday Yep we’re making it a thing! Whilst prevention is definitely better than cure, it’s never to late to start taking care of your skin... We’re going to start with Exfoliation! Whilst we all love the feel of our skin after removing all the dead skin cells and unclogging those pores, a gentle exfoliation should really only be done 1-2 times per week which is enough to stimulate collagen, skin cell turnover and keep those pores squeaky clean Over-exfoliation can actually take your skin backwards, causing skin damage, creating irritation and even breakouts. If you’re concerned with your skin texture and think you could possibly be over-exfoliating, speak to one of our highly experienced skin therapists at your next appointment who may suggest to cut back and perhaps switch to a product better suited to your skin type

05.01.2022 Covid 19 update: Well it wasn’t the start to the week we’d all hoped for but under the new government restrictions we are still able to continue business as usual for now, for which we are so grateful. Strict hygiene and safety practices has always been our priority at Embellish even before Covid and we will continue to adhere to this to keep our beautiful clients, our staff and our families safe. ... This means that we will be wearing masks at all times during your treatments and the use of hand sanitiser will be required by all clients attending the salon as well as limited numbers in the salon and social distancing. We pride ourselves on our infection control practices and it’s one of the reasons we have become booked out for weeks in advance.
