Just wanted to quickly jump on and give a little shout out to all of you beautiful souls- the ones who year after year, month after month, continuously support my business The ones who like or share a post, recommend the business either by word of mouth or tagging on social media... and most importantly, those who choose ME to do YOUR hair! Thank-you from the absolute bottom of my heart. You all help keep my dream and passion alive.... 10.01.2022 Blonde Refresh When it comes to blondes, you NEED to take care and look after those locks! #keepeducated These are my top 6 MUST have products! ... 1 Professional moisturising shampoo and conditioner. Make sure they are colour safe and sulphate free to preserve tones/ colour 2 Treatment! These guys are way underrated and to be honest a lot of clients don’t realise how important they actually are! They help to rebuild and strengthen your hair. Use a protein based treatment if your hair is brittle, and a moisture based if your hair is dry! 3 Purple shampoo. Nothing too strong! There’s a huge range of blonde shampoos available however having the wrong one can dry your hair out and undo all the good work you’ve done. Distribute evenly. Focus on any gold bits. Rinse thoroughly. Only use it when your hair is feeling brassy! Don’t overuse it! 4 Leave in moisturiser. This helps to manage your hair after washing or getting wet. Makes it easier to comb which means less knots and breakage! Plus, it has ingredients to smooth, protect and more- depending on which one you use. 5 Shine spray. This is great for keeping your hair looking smooth and shiny. Something a lot of blondes can lack! 6 Heat protector. If you are using any type of heating appliance, ALWAYS use a heat Protector fo protect your hair from further damage and breakage! Recommended rebooking time Scalp bleach (Block colour on roots) 4-6 Weeks Foils 6-8 weeks Balayage 6-12 weeks Toner can be expected to rinse/ fade within 3-4 weeks even with good quality shampoo and conditioner. This is when you would use your blonde shampoo to eliminate those brassy tones. *These are MY PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL recommendations. Second photo shows the original starting colour, the result after the first session and then the result after the second session (which was today). ... The client waited roughly 6 weeks between lightning sessions to keep hair healthy.
