11.01.2022 Embleton families-this would be great to attend!

11.01.2022 Embleton families, due to the need for social distancing it is unlikely that we will hold our season wind up any time soon. Rather than waiting much longer, the committee has decided to release the results on Facebook. Congratulations to all of our athletes who attended training, showed up early on Saturday mornings and gave it their all-many PBs were set and broken this season and our athletes fared well in championships and Zones competitions with many athletes winning mu...ltiple medals and qualifying for several events as well. Good sportsmanship is very evident in our club with all parents/athletes always cheering each other on from the sidelines-we may be the smallest club but we are the loudest club! A huge thank you to our coach Jasmine who did a fantastic job with training and preparing our athletes with the skills and techniques needed to compete at a high level. Now for our awards! Congratulations to the following athletes: Overall Champion Boy: Orlando Retts Overall Champion Girl: Ashwariya Waghela Runner Up Champion Boy: Tristan Jardine Runner Up Champion Girl: Ciana Rio Torto Most PBs: Aiden Murphy Outstanding Athletes: Aiden Murphy Vivaan Vijaykumar Valued Athletes: Heaven Davies Damon Rio Torto Hayley Placzek Dylan Jardine Lachlan Murphy Trophies are currently being held at Jasmines house. Arrangements can be made to collect these from outside of her house. Please send a PM message for further information. A huge thank you to all of our parents, families and athletes for helping out with filling rosters, helping with fundraisers and at Zones and States competitions. We could not have had such a great season without you all! We will be in contact regarding hosting our wind up hopefully when it is safe to do so. Thank you for your understanding Cassie

09.01.2022 Hi everyone, The forecast for tomorrow is expected to reach 36 degrees-very hot Can you please consider filling long track roster first if you are on roster? Even if you are not on roster jump in and help to get the day over quicker. Please remember to sign both the insurance book as well as the event sign up sheet that you are assisting with.... We aim to run the 500s, 400s and 1500s first. We will run the 70s and 100s (11 and 12s) consecutively with the 1500s where we can. Dont forget to slip, slop, slap tomorrow and to drink lots of water. I always like to bring a hydralyte sachet too just in case.

08.01.2022 Hi Parents, Please see regarding changes to timetables

08.01.2022 Hi parents, Please be aware that tonights program is the last time we do Program One before Championships. If your athlete has not recorded a result twice for events in Program One then they will not be able to compete in these events at Championships for medals (unless a medical certificate has been provided). You can check how many times your child has completed an event by looking at your Results HQ page. See you tonight

07.01.2022 Hi everyone! Tammy (coach from Camboon LAC) has kindly extended an invitation to members from our club to attend a special training session at Terry Tyzack aquatic centre next Monday from 5.00-6.00pm-parent supervision is a must. As it will be an exercise session, knowing how to swim is not essential and the session will not take place in water over waist height for juniors. Athletes will be responsible for covering their entry costs into the pool. This sounds like a fun (and refreshing) way to train

06.01.2022 Congratulations Ash and Ciana-1st and 3rd in the 700m walk

06.01.2022 Looking for a winter sport to get your child involved in? Why not try Netball? Rebels Netball Club are currently looking for Net Set Go players for the 2020 season. See below for more info
