The successful applicant is expected to design and create opportunities that meet the needs of individuals residents. The role requires demonstrated artistic, musical and/or entertainment skills. Wait Staff Team Member - The purpose of this role is to provide assistance to hospitality team members and assist Residents at risk of social isolation at meal times. Applicants with a background in food services will be highly regarded. Keeping Connected Team Member - The purpose of this role is to assist older people living in residential aged care to remain connected to their family and friends by the use of various technologies to help prevent social isolation. Applicants with a high level of contemporary IT skills across both Apple and Android platforms will be highly regarded. Housekeeping Team Member - The purpose of this role is to provide high quality housekeeping services to Residents in an aged care environment who are at risk of social isolation. The role requires exceptional customer service skills, a warm, friendly and welcoming manner, and kind reassurance. Applicants with a background in hotel services will be highly regarded. Positions will be available in both the North and West areas of Brisbane. Successful candidates would receive a minimum of 16 hours per fortnight for 3 months, and shift times will predominately commence mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Candidates would need to be available to work on week days and weekends. NOTE: There's a few safety measures to keep in mind when coming to your appointment:... If you feel unwell, please stay at home. Call or message to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I'm requesting that clients not to bring friends or family members to appointments please, unless they are booked in for a treatment as well. I would like to keep the numbers low of clients in the clinic at one time. Seating is re-arranged to maintain social distancing. (At least 1.5m apart.) Upon arrival, all clients must use provided alcohol-based hand sanitiser. As much as I would love to give my dearly missed clients a big hug, I'll restrict it to 1.5m air-hug.
