10.01.2022 How often do you set time aside to stretch ?? Lifting weights is GREAT but when was the last time that you stretched those muscles.. I find that there is more emphasis on older people to stretch, whereas we are "young and our bodies can deal with it". I'd like to debate that and encourage EVERYONE, despite age, to stretch more. Whether it be a commitment to 1 yoga class a week or 10mins each day.... We need to move our bodies as much and as often (within reason) as possible.



06.01.2022 Sometimes it helps to change things up.. We choose to train in a certain way and sometimes feel stuck, or in my case: unsure of what they want to do due to mental barriers when it comes to training. My solution: don't take a break, take a week and try something new.... Stimulation is the core to training. Whether that be stimulating the muscles to grow and develop or stimulating your brain to learn a new skill. Here's what I learnt from my first session at Bikini Bods: - I have enjoyed the 'sweat sesh' - I am enjoying learning and developing a skill I have little knowledge about. Boxing is something I have done in the past, not something I'm completely confident in. Add in the Muay Thaielements for a new skill and we are on. - I have learnt about myself, after spending 2 years powerlifiting, where my limits in a conditioning session is after all my lack of anything cafdio related beyond walking
