13.01.2022 Anxiety & Acupuncture Anxiety to me is when you are not feeling yourself in your body. Not grounded in self. Somehow feeling disconnected from who you truely are. I see this time and time again. For all sorts of reasons, all sorts of life experiences, circumstances and histories. I see acupuncture as being a way to come home to yourself. Your situation isn’t going to change over night but the way you view it can be unraveled when you feel connected with self and others. Whe...n your body feels settled and you can sort through the rest. I see it as acupuncture working at a spirit level. I see bodies soften and receive and accept. I see faces change and I see life’s transform. This all happens at a different rate for each individual. But I believe it can happen for everyone when the path becomes clear and stagnation of Qi is shifted and deficiencies nourished and you take time for you to just be. Be kind to yourself through this journey back to yourself. Treat yourself as you would treat others with an open heart and gentle steady pace. There is no rushing these things. And get out into nature. To feel how it moves freely. Open yourself to all possibilities and be willing to discover just how amazing you are.
