22.01.2022 The only constant in life is change. Heath, Alyosha and I are 2.5 months into our year of camping around Australia. Having headed almost directly to Tas after leaving WA back in January, we are now looking for quiet places on the mainland to hole up. We want to live responsibly and limit the germ spread. So perhaps a housesit will actually keep our vision of nature and the great outdoors this year alive?! Dreaming of somewhere warm away from major cities... maybe SA or nort...hern NSW. Please share this with anyone you know that may be in need. About us... We are bush walk loving fam of a primary school teacher, dance facilitator and an active 15 month old. It's a potent point for calming agitation and restlessness. A lovely quote to describe the function of Kidney 1 is it "returns the unrooted back to its source". Boy do we need this! That is the main achievement and other things like publishing books and setting up institutions . . ., they are not important.... "It is important we have a sangha [community] and the insight came that the Buddha of our time may not be an individual but it might be a sangha. If every day you practice walking and sitting meditation and generate the energy of mindfulness and concentration and peace, you are a cell in the body of the new Buddha. This is not a dream but is possible today and tomorrow. The Buddha is not something far away but in the here and in the now."
