13.01.2022 From Kalgoorlie red dirt to picturesque NZ. My journey home through Covid. What a mission.. checking into Kalgoorlie airport for flight to perth took ages because I was going to be an international passenger this made it slightly more difficult from the ladies at the desk. Got to perth then flight was delayed in Perth to Melbourne due to a bush fire so had to wait about half hr or so before we boarded then had to wait longer on tarmac too. Was told I needed a permit to get i...nto Victoria before my flight which I did but it was never checked. Overnight in Melbourne then was off to Auckland the next day. International airports are quiet so quiet you rethink if you are in the right place or not. No shops open maybe one food outlet open and a pharmacy if your lucky Melbourne had maybe a couple of shops open but that was it. There was no one around apart from our flight no hussle and bustle through the airport to get to check in or customs. Quiet. Airy. Weird. Flight was delayed going to Auckland due to an incoming Air Nz flight being delayed. Finally we left about an hour later. Now for me I always book the food option on flights and lucky I did as what was about to happen in Auckland would have made people hungry and dehydrated. Once we landed in Auckland we were not allowed off the plane until we had clearance this took about half an hour. Then once in the airport we were blocked off multiple times just to get through to customs. No food or drink shop stops. Empty, all boarded up. We all stood around through these stages for 2 hours all up before we got to the stage of getting to a bus that took us to our unknown destination. It was only here were we were told were we were going. Hamilton. Then bused down. Now we only got on that bus at 8.40pm our flight landed just after 6pm. 03.01.2022 Massive thank you to everyone who helped me put this together and those who donated. Thank you to everyone also who was interested in the raffle. Has been a great experience and I hope to put together another raffle for another great cause in the near future..xx

03.01.2022 Hello all.. Embrace Beauty unfortunately will not be going ahead this year as I have to return to New Zealand unexpectedly and my return to auz is yet unknown. Thanks to all that liked the page and what I was trying to achieve. I hope maybe one day in the future I can full fill my dream. Much love xx Abbie
