21.01.2022 From a recent display in Guild House... members of Innovative Stitches group created their own colour palette to inspire choice of thread and fabrics. Using these to stitch works in their preferred techniques. A different approach with great results.

15.01.2022 Today was the last day of the Guild’s 2020 BOM class - Long Time Gone Stitching. This canvaswork embroidery design by Ann-Marie Anderson-Mayes is based on Jen Kingwell’s quilt, Long Time Gone. We think you will agree that the students have done a spectacular job, especially as the class had to switch to online teaching during lock down earlier in the year.

11.01.2022 The 'Constructing & Finishing Techniques' workshop seemed it would be such a dry topic but instead proved lively and engaging with so much sharing of information from the local guild tutor - Faye Phillip. Cushion covers, book covers, inserting embroidery into other projects, fastenings, needle cases. Each project done with such an amazingly simple technique.

03.01.2022 A collection of colour yesterday at Guild House as Glen skilfully guided the workshop ladies through their journey in construction. This could be another step in the Guild's Personal Development Programme see embroiderersguildwa.org.au/learning. #embroiiderersguildwa, #EmbroideryWorkshop, #totesbag

01.01.2022 A different way of thinking. Helen from Innovative Stitches group creates her complementary colour palette to inspire her choice of thread and fabric. Then goes on to stitch her 20cmx20cm design in her preferred techniques.
