19.01.2022 We have some students that have kindly recorded a quick 1 to 2 minute video describing their pathway journey after completing their VCE (scored and non-scored) or VCAL. We will be showing these at our Pathway Expo tomorrow. The idea is to show our aspiring senior students what life is like after VCE/VCAL.... If you would like to share your experience about how your journey led you to Uni/ TAFE/ an apprenticeship or a job or you changed from one career idea to another please send us your video story too! You just need to cover the following questions in a 1-2 minute video. What is your name? What year did you do your VCE at EMC Did you do scored or non- scored If you did VCE scored did you get an ATAR that you needed for Uni? (You dont need to say the score ) What happened after VCE/VCAL- did you do a pathway course- did you change your career choice ? Mention anything else that you think is really important that you would like to share to a student currently at EMC that is trying to decide their own pathway! For privacy please personal message Lindsay Dare (Community Engagement Officer). Lets help these young students with your knowledge and real life experiences!

19.01.2022 Welcome to the Langwarrin & Friends Alumni The Langwarrin Alumni and Friends Association is a group of people who have some connection to Langwarrin Post Primary School/Langwarrin Secondary College/Elisabeth Murdoch College including students, staff, parents and anyone who has been associated with the growth and development of our school. The group has now established an incorporated body with a committee of management. Initially the committee is trying to engage as many peop...le as possible. Your involvement can be simply joining the group and receiving regular communications. Other involvement/concepts being discussed include career pathway days, establishment of a Hall of Fame, past student mentoring program, attendance at key College cultural events such as whole school productions, awards ceremonies and sub school events to name a few. The group will be organic in nature and respond to the membership in terms of the opportunities offered and created through your input. We are aiming to provide a strong and ongoing conduit between past and present College members and friends. Now in the fourth decade of our existence the time is right to embrace our community with a strong focus on recognising and celebrating both the past and future. There will be great benefits to all members through the nurturing of our extensive networks and the development of our young people. Join us in this exciting journey. See more

03.01.2022 Linking our past and present to the future! Where are they now??. Do you remember Katie Beazley?... Katie Wilkinson nee Beazley was a student here at EMC between the years: 1989-1994- and now she works here at EMC!! We interviewed Katie for "Where are they now?" and here are her candid answers! What was your favourite subject? Home Economics I always loved cooking and still love to bake. Who was your favourite teacher? That would be tough call between Di Kindler (Biology) and Kellie Cooke (Home Eco) What you do now? After school I went on to become an apprentice chef. Then I managed a caf in Chelsea for a couple of years. After deciding I had been in hospitality for too long I worked in various admin roles for builders and then onto Real Estate in Frankston. I stopped working for a few years when I had my two children Emily and Charlotte. I then went back in admin working at a food manufacturing company. I am currently working in the office at EMC and love being here again!! Who was your Principal when you were here: Bob Loader. Thanks Katie- its great to know how our past students can help our present and future students learn more about this great schools history!
