25.01.2022 My four month contract managing The Long Paddock Touring Route socials concluded just over a week ago and talk about ending with a bang. Facebook growth: 11,889 new page fans Instagram growth: 703 new profile followers ... As for the all important engagement metric? Absolutely blown out of the park! I had so much fun working with this client and delving deep into the stories of the region. Personally I learnt so much about the characters of the outback, the unique towns and a host of fabulous things to go explore with my own family. It was certainly rewarding to read the feedback on posts where ones expressed how much they too had learnt and how it was now their favourite page to follow. Not only did they thoroughly enjoy the posts, they now had an intention to visit. I’d say that’s a win

11.01.2022 CLIENT TESTIMONIAL - The Long Paddock On the 31 January I wrapped up a four month social media campaign for the Long Paddock Touring Route. ... Out of the many projects I’ve undertaken the past few years, this was certainly a highlight. I immensely enjoyed not only the challenge of the ambitious targets but also the opportunity to learn so much about rural Australia, our characters and our stories. I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to work with the committee and so glad they were happy with the campaign results. Here’s what they had to say: The Long Paddock engaged Forest Media to deliver a content management plan to increase our social media following and the results were nothing short of incredible. We started with what we thought was an ambitious goal Emma achieved this in a matter of days! It was thrilling to watch Forest Media meet and beat our targets each week. The end result was an eye watering increase to our followers. Forest Media crafted stories with a nuanced understanding of our market, which was evident in our campaign results. With an outstanding knowledge of the social media algorithms, on brand messaging and attention to detail, Forest Media should be your first choice for content management. Thankyou

10.01.2022 Some jobs are big, others small. This week I helped out the lovely Denise & Twang who not only own our local watering hole, the Pretty Pine Hotel, but also have Claughton House Hay. Since taking ownership they’ve put in the hard yards renovating this grand old beauty which once was a student hostel. ... Unlike much of my work which is focused on social media management and communication strategy, my role this week was taking some photographs and helping them list their business on Airbnb and also the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse. Something a little different but still so rewarding to see the smiles and relief on their faces when it was finally done. Not everyone is tech savvy or knows how to write about themselves, so it’s nice to be able to help out where I can Here’s to hopefully many more bookings for Claughton House in Hay Ps.
