24.01.2022 Courtyards & Pathways Patio paving.

24.01.2022 Narrow Hedge trimmed to client's request. Approx 3/4 cube of stone removed by hand prior. Colourful plants added in small amount of space , with just enough room to walk behind hedge for future trimming without trampling new plants. Very small space to plant. Incredibly narrow distance from hedge to fence for trimming. Mulching will come in the form of trimmed material on future visits to suit client's desired approach to this particular garden bed.

24.01.2022 19/36 pavers levelled, locked & cut into place. Finish line tomorrow, pending overnight rainfall.

23.01.2022 8 x "Lilly Pilly Resilience" with sugarcane.

20.01.2022 3 Categories: 1. Local Nurseries (60% usage rate) 2. "Emerald Landscapes" Home Nursery (40% usage rate) 3. Plants & Palms of clients (feature plant options). ... 3 desired outcomes 1. Maximum colour range of colour, 2. High visual impact/Wow Factor 3. Relative ease of maintenance = your peace of mind.

20.01.2022 1st paved courtyard has been completed. Was up against alot of wet weather & a few other hurdles to complete this one by the deadline. Garden bed above to come shortly to fully rectify the inherent water-logging in this area.

17.01.2022 Before & Afters (PART 1) on a project completed a few months back - Erosion was a prior ongoing issue & nightmare for client. Area has been screened off using "Coir Logs" to prevent mulch & soil loss. Stakes have been locked in against logs with added durability that exceeds recommended standards to ensure longevity, maximum hold into ground & for peace of mind. - Stakes in logs to 500mm deep. - Stakes at front of logs to 600mm deep. - Shale & Sandstone bedrock removed to ...700mm deep for Red Robbin hedge & replaced with premium quality soil, gypsum also added to help break clay down. - Soil replenishment also completed for other plants shown up to 550mm depth to ensure enough space for root establishment. - 2 screening hedges installed & approx 20 other plants. 14.01.2022 Scenic Sunday drive...upon today's project completion. This drive is up there with QLD's most beautiful drives....waited until job was done to take a few snaps of this lovely location. It's close to Landsborough, close to Maleny & a nice slice of "hidden paradise" up here.

13.01.2022 Part 1 of a recently completed project, complete with birdsong in the background.

13.01.2022 Project completed a few months back (PART 2). All logs locked into place with extra stakes at front & to greater depth than recommended standards. Long hours on the petrol post hole digger took place on this job, digging through a sandstone, shale & clay substrate. Extra stakes & extra depth of stakes was essential to project so that the logs could form the "strongest possible" garden bed perimeter for this product.... extending the durability & longevity of this product as far as possible over time. They are "locked in" through the centre & at the front of them between 500mm & 600mm depth. Client also struggled for plants to establish, so soil replenishment to a greater depth than recommended standards also took place.

11.01.2022 Big thankyou to the people I had come & help get these logs & plants in. Couldn't have completed project without it. Absolute Legends :) About 50% of job done on my own & 50% done with help of another person :)

10.01.2022 Some Inspiration for Christmas time DIY'ers. A few bird photos thrown in for good measure as well. Creating a beautiful landscape at home is always enhanced if you can attract some magnificent birdlife to your home. The best of both worlds, manmade and nature joining forces

09.01.2022 Part 3, thanks for the help on log positioning and planting as this was the most difficult planting project to date and steepest slope Ive been on for long periods of time. Good challenge. Good fun. Great help.

09.01.2022 Waterlogged area converted to paved courtyard. Further landscaping work to come at this location. Further planned work will reduce & redirect water volume away from where it currently pools after heavy rainfall. Reshaping the slope & installing garden bed(possibly small retaining wall above link edge).
