25.01.2022 Round 4 of the Karting Australia series will be in Emerald on the 21st to the 23rd of July. Nominations closed on Friday night and there is 220 nominations. It was great to see the support from karters in the CQ Region and wider Queensland community. There has been an awesome effort put in by members of our club to make the track and facilities exceed peoples expectations. Looking forward to seeing you all in 2 weeks here in Emerald. 25.01.2022 Nathan and Lewis are ready to go. We are at the Mackay Kart Club for the 2nd Round of the 2017 Queensland State Titles.

19.01.2022 This is the start of the KZ2 final at Round 4 of the Australian Kart Championship today in Emerald.

16.01.2022 Well the first round of the JC CQ karting series has been run and won. What a weekend! Lewis and Nathan raced their final today, Lewis finished 1st which gave him a win for the weekend. Nathan finished 5th in the final which may have him finishing 4th for this round. For Nathan's 3rd race in Seniors, he has come along very quickly, and learnt to put his elbows out and not take any rot from the men around him. Top effort Nathan, looking forward to watching you race this year ...with/against Lewis. The Cadet 12 race today saw a group of 3 drive away from the rest of the field, Ty being one of these racers. Ty finished 3 in the final, but finishes the weekend overall in 2nd place. Congratulations boys! We would like to thank Scott from Praga Karts Australia for your support and guidance over the weekend. Ty would like to thank Mick Gollan from MG Engines for his rocket. 12.01.2022 Well what a day Mitchell, Lewis and I had at the track today. Lewis found some extraordinary pace .6 quicker than what we were doing in KA3 here in Emerald at the CQ series, and Mitchell dropped a second off his lap times. Successful day at the track.

10.01.2022 Practice has finished for the day. In the first session we were 18th fastest out of 33. Not that happy with the gearing and a few other things. So we made some minor changes for session 2, and at the completion of the practice we were 7th quickest, 2 tenths from first. Very happy with that. We were set for qualifing today after some more fine tuning. But the weather has beaten us this afternoon. Qualifying is now tomorrow. So we are ready to roll out for qualifying in the morning and see where we end up. Thanks to Michael Rolfe, from Rolfe Race Engines. Your support is number one. To the other Emerald Kart Club members racing this weekend Harry Armstrong, Ben Finch, Ty O'Neill, Carter Mobbs, Brody Sonter and Luke Goldstone. Best of luck and hope you have good clean races.
