23.01.2022 EEPG is working with Macclesfield Disaster Recovery Group and Emergency Management Victoria (EMV) to help create a Community Based Emergency Management Portal on the EMV website. This will enable recovery agencies, local government and local leaders identify the recovery resources and assets available in a particular town when an emergency occurs. This will help encourage local involvement in pre planning efforts and recovery efforts regardless of the emergency.

23.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who helped the Emergency Support Team at Emerald Twilight Market.

15.01.2022 Monbulk Fire 21/11/19 update: The fire activity yesterday around Monbulk saw 3 main fires being the Silvan Dam, Carcoola Rd and the larger one at Rankins Rd beh...ind the Monbulk College which was around 1.5ha. A huge effort by all crews who attended these fires has meant very minimal property damage. Trucks from across the Dandneong Ranges were supported by water drops by helicopter. Crews were patrolling the fire overnight and are again today. We would like thank all the brigades who supported us as well as our amazing community for rallying around. We have read and really appreciate your messages of support Here are some photos with thanks to local brigades and resident Alvin Lawrence. On a side note we are currently recruiting for new members so if youre interested please email: [email protected]. See more
