25.01.2022 Impromptu concert and singalong on our beautiful organ... beautiful day for a visit to the Park and Museum by Advent Care, independent units, retirement Village Nunawading

24.01.2022 Although we may think the recent weather has been awful, the trees in the Nobelius Heritage Park are obviously loving it. The Kiwi Fruit is amass of flowers, the Knightia is looking gorgeous with pods and flowers and both of the Tulip trees are also in flower. The Variegated Tulip Tree holds the record for having the longest botanical name of any tree in the Park!

21.01.2022 Emerald Museum remains closed. The decision to reopen will be made at the end of June. Concerns for our volunteers and committee, many of whom are in the high risk category are paramount at this time. The Nobelius Heritage Park remains open... a great place to walk and play!

20.01.2022 The Emerald Museum, is establishing a program to collect and document the experiences of our local community in dealing with the CoVid19 pandemic and the way it has changed our lives since March. This will create a rich resource for future generations to understand how our community, residents, businesses and services responded and adapted in this tumultuous period of our history. We invite you to send your stories and photos for collation and future display. We love to hear ...about How you are finding new ways to stay connected to family, friends and neighbours home schooling and in particular from students and teachers themselves. The inspiring acts of kindness in our community and the way we have cared for families, friends and neighbours How COVID has changed the way we exercise and spend leisure time Your working from home experiences and challenges To send us your contributions you can Post photos and stories on our Facebook page Email us at [email protected] Post to PO Box 578, Emerald 3782 A Great example/ please pass the word to your community...thank you

20.01.2022 A beautiful day in the park... Wedding celebration, 23rd birthday, walkers and picnickers...

20.01.2022 During this difficult time for everyone a reminder about the beautiful Nobelius Heritage Park in the centre of Emerald... a perfect place to walk or bring your children and maintain social isolation while getting some exercise. The park is looking stunning, the autumn trees are turning colour, the grass has been mowed and it looks great. Unfortunately the Museum remains closed but come and enjoy the Park. Maybe not today though, photos were taken yesterday, bit of a difference in the weather!

19.01.2022 Today’s working bee... 3 men, a sign and a hammer!

12.01.2022 Many thanks to Kevin and Anne Teasdale for this post on the Emerald Museum andNobelius Heritage Park Website. Nobelius Heritage Park is world class. The attached N.H.P. photo compares favourably with the Göteborg, Västra Götaland, Sweden photo. Our park surely reflects Nobelius' home country The local photo is the one with our car in the distance. What an amazing similarity between the two photos, both beautiful. Thanks again Kevin
