25.01.2022 Hello all, well as we are still locked away for (hopefully only) a few more weeks. We thought we needed to give an update on our films. So our first one Aperture. It was 3 years ago that we were filming this and as yet it is still not finished. But it is extremely close with only the music to be completed, but due to the lockdown, we have not been able to meet up with the composer to check on how it is sounding, same also with the songs being written. If all things had been g...oing to plan the film was due to be ready in June. For Silenced we have a few more sound edits to do, but again we can't yet meet up to listen to how it sounds. So hopefully come October we can get into overdrive to have both of these films 100% completed this year. It's a long road we've been on but we're making sure that 2020 isn't a complete write off and that we can give you all something that you will enjoy and that we are proud to have been able to provide it for you. and keep safe David & Sam

18.01.2022 Today marks the 2 year anniversary of our studio in Moorabbin. Although we've only been able to use it just a handful of times this year, we are excited to be able to welcome people back in very soon!!!

16.01.2022 Well It's great to see Melbourne coming back out of lockdown with Retail & Hospitality opening. However looking at the roadmap, we will not be able to open the studio just yet, as we are not classed as a permitted workplace so we have to wait even longer. 14.01.2022 Great News!!! We have been informed that we can resume our studio services for Self-taping under the current restriction level. This is great news as the Film & TV industry in Melbourne starts gearing back up. We can potentially also run other studio services, but as we haven't been able to access to studio until now, we need a bit of time (not too much) to make it COVID safe. We will be working through which services we'll be able to offer and at what capacity as well as av...ailable times for these over the next week. Not only that, we now have an online booking system so you can book a session directly. We do have a limit of 10 people maximum allowed in the studio as well as other COVID safe requirements. Emerald Swan are teaming up with local Melbourne Photographer Brad Henderson of @b.k_images to run some actor headshot sessions throughout the year. Our first one will be this month on Feb 13 & 14. In these 2 hour 1-on-1 sessions, you will get 4 outfit changes, 2 backgrounds & 5 edited photo's for $400.... Brad has worked with Emerald Swan previously as the BTS photographer for 'Silenced'. His fun approach to headshots creates a relaxing and enjoyable environment to bring out the best look for the actor. He has an amazing catalogue of various types of photography and is expanding his portfolio. We are thrilled to be able to work with him on this in what is the first of many sessions.
