23.01.2022 Emerald Tennis association have been working closely with CHRC to re-open the courts for recreational play only. Only three courts will be open to the public and will have to be booked through the tennis association for 1 hour time slots only. A maximum of 10 people is allowed on site at any one time and the clubhouse and toilets will remain closed until further notice. Social distancing rules must apply and players must bring supply own equipment.... The Tennis Association will be monitoring the usage of the courts at all times and will close the courts again if players do not obey these simple rules. Thank you EDLTA

Due to the Covid restrictions changing, the Emerald Tennis Club can recommence Monday Juniors and Senior Fixtures , as well Thursday Night Social Ladies. We will be complying with the Outdoor Teams Sports Industry Covid Safe Plan which has been approved by the Qld State government. Senors Fixtures will be holding two weeks of mini gradings for all players (past & new) wanting to play fixtures for Season 2.... Junior & Senior Gradings start on Monday 20th July at 4pm (Juniors) and 6.15pm (Seniors) Junior & Senior Fixtures start on 3rd August Thursday Night Social Ladies on Thursday 30th July More information will be posted over the weekend. Coronavirus restrictions and recommendations from Tennis Australia have stopped any form of organised tennis eg Monday junior & Senior fixtures, Thursday night ladies, Sunday Social and will now include court hire and coaching until further notice.
