05.01.2022 Do you ever wish someone would give you permission to r e l a x ? I hereby invite you to step into my garden here in Ravensbourne and make time to stop & smel...l the roses. Or sweet peas Opening the garden up to start holding workshops is kind of scary. It’s not perfect. It’s all a work in progress and I’m no art expert. But i love encouraging others to slow down and explore the joy of being creative. It’s not about the finished painting, it’s about the experience of making time to really look at what you see and enjoy playing with colour! There are so many things to notice here in spring that make my fingers twitch to sketch. Would you like to join us? The poppies are going crazy, the pink lavender, the green Irish Bells and the sweet peas. We might even draw the chooks! Brisbane art teacher @diannekellyart will be the tutor and I’ll be hosting. Bring a friend and come on out for a deep breath of country air. All art materials will be provided, including your own sketchbook.
