20.01.2022 Hi all, Trevor has been a amazing part of our Team as our communicator in race control to our Ambulance drive. I would like to share and wish Trevor from all our team the best. ... Hello Members & Friends, As most of you are already aware, our great friend and supporter Trevor Lobegeiger is in the middle of fighting a tough battle with cancer. Trev has been a huge contributor to our category for many years, he’s well and truly part of the QTCC family. To help and provide some support to Trevor and his family, the committee recently decided to donate the total funds of the Potluck Poll award, for round 1, to Trevor. Since we made this decision there has been various people put their hands up to support also. We now have a number of people offering their financial support and will match whatever the amount is we the drivers put together in the Potluck Poll kitty at our forthcoming round 1 race. Steve Hay & LJ Hooker Caboolture Leonard Meiers & Tyre Busters Woody & Brisbane Collision Centre Les Hanifin & Hano’s Car Care Also, Roy Hall of Hall Finance & insurance has donated some V8 Supercar memorabilia that we’ll raffle, and/or auction, at round 1 proceeds will be donated to the Trevor fund. Other donations, for raffle or auction, include a V8 Experience Drive at QR & T.B.C from Racer Industries. (Some items maybe held over to the Morgan Park round depending on the number of items on offer.) To add to this, Stu Walker has created and printed some stickers with a small tribute to Trevor that we’ll all be able to run on our cars this year. Of course, if any of the drivers and members wish to donate further, please do so via the Potluck Poll award at round 1 or let Dave know what you have that could be raffled or auctioned. It’s going to a great friend who is in need of our support and thoughts. Trevor loves the QTCC family and it will no doubt be a great boost to his morale to know he has so much support from us. On behalf of the committee and the QTCC members, thank you so much to the above people who are contributing and also to all of the drivers who will on the day. It will be going to a great cause.
