15.01.2022 Anaemia is a condition that occurs when the body does not have enough healthy red blood cells to transport oxygen to the tissues of the body. This can result in symptoms such as fatigue, shortness of breath and dizziness. In many cases, the cause of anaemia is known. For example, gastrointestinal bleeding or genetic disorders. However, for many people, the cause of their anaemia is unknown. Emeritus Research is currently running trials in the area of unexplained anaemia. If you are over the age of 65, you may be eligible.
