23.01.2022 Postal Vote Packs are now on their way for all voters in the Banyule Council elections. For those in Hawdon Ward this your chance to have your say on who will stand up for you!

17.01.2022 I'm sure everyone has noticed that the North East Link construction has started. We all know how bad Rosanna, Lower Plenty and Greensborough Roads can be normally and the NE Link will add to that! NE Link needs to be properly integrated into our local environment during construction and after. As your new Councillor for Hawdon, I would work to ensure that locals are not forgotten.

16.01.2022 This was the dog waste bin down at Warringal Park on Sunday! I think it's time the area gets another dog waste bin, have the bin emptied more often or we get an actual rubbish bin. It's not the first time I've seen it like this. Rosanna Park has the same problem, maybe worse.

15.01.2022 Few people know much about the Defence Force's Simpson Barracks, situated right here in Yallambie in our own Hawdon Ward. Dating back to WW2, the base is a key part of Australia's military training with the ADF's School of Signals (communications experts) and School of Music (where those great bands come from!). Plus its the home of Victoria's own 4th Brigade of the Australian Army. Simpson is also an important part of Banyule City and particularly Hawdon, employing locals a...nd bringing in millions of dollars to the community. It was the command centre for the ADF's assistance for the major bushfires earlier in the year. And now it is the headquarters for Operation COVID-19 Assist in Victoria. Bringing it closer to home as a Navy spouse, my husband is part of this team. As your Councillor I will ensure that this critical base continues to be recognised as a crucial and historical part of Banyule City and Hawdon Ward. See more

13.01.2022 Another dangerous footpath! This beauty is on Banyule Road. But look at the new footpath in Ivanhoe East, lower right hand corner pic. Us Hawdon Ward residents ignored........again. VOTE 1 - Emilia Williams for Hawdon

11.01.2022 Visited Price Park in Viewbank with my whippet the other day. Local dog walkers here have been asking for solar lighting for years so that they can bring their dogs here for some exercise after work when it becomes dark. A good idea and it's a safety issue as well. Council has promised but will it be done? We are losing hope!
