20.01.2022 When I woke up this morning, I had a plan of exactly what I wanted to achieve today. And guess what happened? Each thing I was most looking forward to, dissipated in front of my very eyes. Vanished! Not possible. Did not happen. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. 18.01.2022 Just over 2 weeks ago, I celebrated my birthday with this beautiful bunch What can I say, it was a beautiful day with lots of love from all those pictured and from MANY not pictured too and as always, I welcomed in bucketloads of gratitude that I GET to be another year old and be celebrated by people who love me. Thank you lovelies! I still had the legacy pang of mild anxiety at turning "another year older" - unmarried, no kids, blah blah blah. But then I caught myself a...nd checked in... "hang on, do I want to be married and have kids right now? Not just yet! Ok, so what's the problem? Ahhh there isn't one... ok awesome, carry on!" How crazy that a simple thought that wasn't even true could have detracted from what was otherwise a beautiful day! Thankful for the work and awareness to drop what doesn't serve. 33 is going to be the best year yet! Thank you to all those who wished me a happy birthday, celebrated with me, thought of me, shared cake under a bat infested tree with me (true story!) And a special thank you to @ryanxdrake for making my first birthday as your girlfriend so special I love you all so much! 12.01.2022 NEW YEAR, NEW NAME Introducing @awaken.with.emily! Still me, but more me. ... The me that I've been resisting for years! Isn't it funny how often we have intuitive prompts about things and then we ignore them? Downplay them? Judge them? Not trust them? That's been me. If you've been following me for a while you would have seen me sharing about a few recurring themes... "Connection through presence... " "Connecting to who you really are... " At the crux of these tangents is a simple truth that I've known for a few years now and for some reason haven't fully owned. My primary purpose is to fully awaken to all that I am. I believe this is actually EVERYONE'S primary purpose. When are awakened to who we are beyond our mind-made stories and limitations, we are connected to something much deeper and more fulfilling. We are guided in our every day actions by an intelligence that defies any logic or rationale that our minds can come up with. We become present. We welcome a deep, alive sense of peace. We feel joy and love more deeply (or truly, for the first time in some cases). Your awakening journey is your own. My commitment is to share more of my awakening journey and to allow whatever wants to come through me (from presence), be shared with you without question, doubt, insecurity or judgement! So I actually don't know where this journey will take us, the present moment will decide, at the time, every time!
