07.01.2022 Our prayer for fathers on this Father's Day. Ancient, almighty, good and kind One: here we are. What a year it has been. Many of us with more exhaustion, sorrow and even anger, and resignation than we could begin to name. Who knew a pandemic would be so exhausting? Would you meet with us in this space, in this place, at this particular moment? We ask that you would touch the heart of every father as we head into Father’s Day. May you sustain them and ignite a passion within a...nd direct them into life-giving transformation. Sustain the fathers with love and hope. Give them rest when needed and strength when required. Let them know and feel the gentleness of your spirit and the loving-kindness of your grace. Would you help them to make room to practice and notice the things that bring them joy? Keep them open, give healing and rest. May they always know your love. Amen
