25.01.2022 Vale Peter Black. I am very proud to call Mr Black a friend, a mentor, and an inspiration. I grew up knowing Mr Black as a family friend, our Mayor, Chairman of the Board of Blackthorn College to which my education was entrusted, and my childrens in turn, and so much more.... As a past serving councillor, and now CEO of a peak body for local government, I am in awe of the achievements in and contribution to the Dalrymple Shire and to local government nationally of this tremendous man. Heartfelt sympathy to Dulcie, families and so many who loved and admired him.
23.01.2022 Exciting announcement imminent #EchucaMoamaBridge #secondrivercrossing #ShireofCampaspe
23.01.2022 While disappointed to see the Liberal Party lose a seat in the Senate, I cannot be disappointed to see Corey Bernardi depart the Party. His repugnant values, inconsistent standards, absence of principles, and lack of integrity are deeply inconsistent with the values to which the Liberal Party is committed.
22.01.2022 #qanda "Stability" can and must be nimble, innovative, responsive, honest, progressive to keep pace with #Australia2016 and beyond.
21.01.2022 Tremendous clip, and the principle is as salient here in Australia as it is in the US

09.01.2022 With nominations closing at noon tomorrow, I would like to wish all candidates standing for upcoming council elections all the best. As previously announced, I will not be standing for re-election, in order to commit my full time and energies to my role as Chief Executive Officer with the Murray Darling Association. My time on council has been an immense privilege, and an invaluable experience. I have worked hard to ensure the community is well represented, and that our decis...ions serve the best interests of our whole community - now and into the future. During the 2012-2016 term of council, our team has been diverse in its views and values; broad ranging in capacity and experience; and often competitive in it perspective and pursuits. Throughout the term, we have seen good decisions made, not always smoothly, not always easily - but always with robust and disciplined debate, and with the interests of the community at the heart of every councillor in the room. I am tremendously proud of the work this council has done in meeting the challenges we have faced, in setting a tone and culture in our organisation that will serve our community well into the future. There is yet much more to do, and we hand the reigns over to the next council having, I think fulfilled our primary aspiration in serving any community - and that is to leave our council and our community in better shape for having served our term. I have every confidence the next council will do likewise. I'd like to thank the Mayor Leigh G Wilson, and my fellow councillors, and CEO Jason Russell and the staff for their contribution to what has been an amazing experience. Thanks also to our community for the faith and trust they have invested in myself and this council; and the nominees for their undertaking to step up and both serve and to lead the Shire of Campaspe for the term ahead. Kind regards, and thank you. E

06.01.2022 Very constructive meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce to discuss the Basin Plan and local government's role in ensuring balanced outcomes in the im...plementation of it. As local government's peak body in the Basin, we look forward to continuing to work with our State and Federal counterparts to ensure local knowledge delivers local solutions via the Plan.
05.01.2022 Extract from minutes of last nights council meeting, Campaspe Shire. 11. URGENT BUSINESS 11.1. RESPONSE TO MEDIA RELATING TO COMPLIANCE OF CODE OF CONDUCT PROVISIONS... COUNCILLORS BRADBURY/PANKHURST In response to items appearing in media across the state relating to 13 Victorian councils failure to comply with the code of conduct provisions, the Shire of Campaspe notes that: a) Campaspe Shire, while named in media releases, has not received formal notification from the Department of Local Government of any failure to comply with the requirements of adopting a Code of Conduct. b) All Campaspe Shire Councillors participated in the development of a constructive code of conduct which was signed by all councillors within statutory timeframes, and c) An audit by the Local Government Investigations and Compliance Inspectorate conducted 18 - 22 April 2016, noted that Campaspe Shire Council Councillor Code of Conduct had a rating of compliant. In addition, Council was commended for the thorough nature of the document. CARRIED These are the facts. 01.01.2022 #metoo Just another strong woman tempered to a steely finish by incidents deliberate and specific, and behaviors inferred and omnipresent, across a lifetime. Like some, I will never be able to share the stories - but I stand tall. ... Never ok. NEVER OK. I celebrate living in a time when this repugnant conduct is called out, at the same time as #LoveWins
