19.01.2022 What a great night for storm photos - so much lightning (and not much rain). Glenelg South tonight
17.01.2022 So when you find these two little cuties (who belong to your neighbour), escaped from inside and running around in your front yard, and you can't get in touch with the neighbours - the right thing to do is to keep them safe in your studio and take some photos right? This brother and sister duo were way too awake and wanting to play, run around and explore though, and my pet wranglers were a 7 and 10 year old - so photos of the two of them together were not easy to get. I stil...l can't believe that someone would just dump a couple of cuties like this when so tiny (they have grown heaps since they were first found, saved and adopted), but I'm thankful there are people in the world like my neighbours who would take them in together and give them a kind loving home to grow up in - despite already having a house overflowing with kids and animals. 16.01.2022 Happy world photo day for today (which also happens to be my birthday - I don't mind sharing my birthday with world photo day at all). Here's one I took on Sunday evening down at Brighton. It's a 3 minute long exposure for the clouds, smooth water and (most of) the people on the jetty, merged with one shorter exposure for the breaking waves in the foreground and the person pointing out on the jetty.
13.01.2022 Blue hour thunderstorm down at Glenelg South tonight. This is one of my favourite spots to head when there is a storm coming (because it's pretty much the closest beach to me besides Glenelg itself, but parking there isn't as easy). Been waiting a long time for thunderstorms to return. This one didn't disappoint.
09.01.2022 Corbin - what a cutie. He came to visit me for his photos at less than 1 week old.
03.01.2022 Happy hump day! I managed to photograph these two frogs (brown tree frogs I think) who were enjoying themselves one night at the pond in our backyard when we stayed at the Coorong Waterfront Retreat earlier this month. Based on all the noise they were making outside our window there were a lot of frogs partying and trying to hook up. No social distancing for these guys, they are having bigger parties and better social lives than us humans at the moment I think.
