24.01.2022 And just like that... After all these years of being a photographer, I finally decided to print and frame my one of own images. Fancy that! Professionally printed with an Australian printing company, I am standing back with my hands on my hips, wondering why they bloody hell I hadn’t done this sooner? 17.01.2022 R U OKAY DAY Today and like every other day, pick up the phone and call someone who haven’t spoken to in a while. Whether you know someone going through a tough time or might just need a good, old country catch up, you might just make their day This iconic photo was taken in Mullewa, Western Australia whilst on tour with The Naked Farmer. Raising awareness for mental health and funds for the Royal Flying Doctor service with a calendar. We were fortunate to have the incred...ible Jenna, from the tiny township of Mullewa, WA reach out to us whilst planning the trip. Jenna told us she had managed to pull together 17 country women from the area to share their stories and have their photo taken. Check out the outcome, most of these women didn’t even know each other but took on the challenge! 13 of these ladies raised there hand when asked if they had suffered from mental health. It doesn’t matter how old you are and what your story may be, everyone deserves a pat on the back today, and everyday You may have seen but, Ben has released a book (The Naked Farmer) that will feature many of the photos I took along the way of the tour. I was 22 years old when I went on the trip around Australia. I wasn’t and still aren’t an expert in dealing with mental health, but I did it anyway. I met men, women and beautiful families along the way. It was an completely emotional but 100% rewarding at the same time. 17.01.2022 I met these two crazy, wild love birds whilst travelling Australia back in 2018 and of all places, it was the Daly Waters Pub The three of us sat up with the owners until 2am. We poured our own beers and laughed all night long! I hassled Matt and said, Mate, when you make the right decision and ask Rach to marry you, give me a call. I want to be at the party with you both, you guys are a hoot! They got engaged and as they lived in Broken Hill. I thought they’d have someone local locked in I received an email not long after, asking me to photograph their wedding and I thought, Oh man, I hope they don’t feel like they have to ask me ha-ha! But, I’m sure as hell happy I got to be apart of your wedding day Rach and Matt, despite the rain, we got through it and boy did we laugh! What a day

14.01.2022 Yesterday, the first day of Spring I finally sat down and tuned into the second podcast from @graziher featuring the legendary @gmac90. A local lady from the Wimmera in Victoria As I was listening, I looked up at my calendar and noticed it was now September. So I flipped to the next page of the 2020 Graziher calendar and what do you know, it’s Grace McLeod with her four legged friend. Shot by the ever so talented @littlewildlovephotography I’ve know Grace for quite some...time and this woman will be certain to make your day, just from her smile and her hilarious puns of course! Grace spoke so positively about her up’s and down’s of being a lady on the land. The agriculture industry is a tough one, but completely unreal at the same time. Something that is always tucked under the rug or swept away, is the the fact when there is more than one child in the family, on a family run farm, well who gets the farm or how does it get split when the parents decide to retire? It’s a discussion that I am certainly starting to hear more of and certainly a tough topic for a lot of Aussie kids on the land. Grace being in one of these situations spoke so highly, but also openly on the topic. Graziher and Grace McLeod, you continue to inspire and help women grow in the amazing agricultural community. Joel and Brit’s wedding was held on a gorgeous property just out of Geelong, Victoria. 07.01.2022 I was fortunate to spend a weekend away at the gorgeous and intimate @nimboforklodge_ set amongst the hills along the Tumut River, New South Wales, just before Christmas to capture the stunning, boutique stay and another restaurant opening of @threeblueducks! To say amazing was the word to describe this beautiful setting, is an understatement. The experience, food (and wine of course) was immaculate and not to mention the entire team at Nimbo Fork, were an absolute blast to work with. I felt like I was apart of the crew by the end of the day shooting at Nimbo Fork Lodge I can’t wait to get back for another weekend of fine dining in the country side.
