25.01.2022 What does Freedom mean to you? What a great question my friend asked me the other day. For some, freedom means having the time to do the things they want to do; for others it may equate with financial independence, finishing school maybe for a young person, breaking free of the shackles of family responsibilities or oppressive rules. In numerology, freedom is a 5 vibration. What does it mean to you and what can you do today to move a little closer to gaining it?

24.01.2022 Examining humanity and the chakras, I read in an old book somewhere that the 1940s and 50s were focused on the base chakra: our security and having a stable home base were important for many. The 60s and 70s were focused on the sacral chakra energy: exploring our sensual side and starting to disassociate guilt with sexuality. Projecting forward, the pattern continues - the 80s and 90s were based around opening up the solar plexus chakra: our seat of power - think shoulder pa...ds, ‘greed is good’ etc. The noughties and 10s for many were focused on opening up the heart centre. Here in 2020, it seems to me that the pattern continues: the throat chakra is all about speaking up, communicating your authentic truth: think about the Me Too movement, the recent shift we have had around gay marriage etc. Many sensitives feel everything is speeding up, so hopefully it won’t take us 20 years to get to the eyebrow centre: our seat of intuition and wisdom and bridge to divine consciousness. 23.01.2022 One of the hardest things we have to do as parents is to guide our children without interfering. A client -‘M’ this week was telling me about the silent Buddhist meditation retreat she had attended where she learnt about the value of Detachment as it relates to parenting. As often happens, my attention has been drawn again and again this week to that spiritual aim. In yoga philosophy this relates, in my view, most to the Yama of Aparigraha - translated from Sanskrit as non-attachment/non-possessiveness or not grasping onto things/possessions/people. All souls are on their own journey home. Our children have chosen us to guide them but pushing/controlling inevitably results in resentment

21.01.2022 When I first became interested in the ways numerology could help people understand their soul self, I came across a book that detailed ‘bad’ date of birth numbers and was horrified that someone could read that and forever have that negative label! Like many of the ancient arts and technologies - think witchcraft, psychic mediumship, etc, numerology can potentially be used for good or bad, as can modern technologies - think stem cell technology, tracking using smartphones etc.... So, it all comes back to intention. People, who generally (because of fear indoctrination) sweep a broad brush over things and label them as bad, dangerous or negative, because of where they subconsciously choose to focus their attention, will only see the dark side. The moment I read that book, I understood the danger of labelling. Humans are amazing, adaptable and complex creatures. All of us have the ability to do pretty much anything we choose. Keep your focus on the light and the strengths of your unique numbers. Certainly work on any challenging areas - remember we chose to be here on earth plane to be challenged, and grow, but DO NOT focus on your weaknesses lest they truly become yours. Spikes - good and bad - have been graphed for years around significant earth events. If we are in sync with the Earth's Frequency (normally 7.83) our body can better heal and increase its vitality.
