25.01.2022 Our first event since March 16th! With all the required restrictions in place, local musicians performed their own songs and told their stories to an intimate audience. Bake-at-home packs are heading out today, and you can still grab one from my website. 25.01.2022 20th August 2018 was the debut performance of my one-woman show, The Piano Men. 2 YEARS AGO! The show tells my story as a piano woman told through the songs of my favourite piano men! I debuted the show at the @edfringe whilst performing with @vintage.vendetta It was a wild tour and I loved every minute. I was able to attend through the Made in Adelaide program by @artssouthaus ... Over the last two years I have toured The Piano Men across Australia and to Edinburgh again performing at @jurysinnshotels @pianodrome @thebutterflyclubmelb @gluttony_fringe @ukariaculturalcentre @campbelltownsa @stmarysouthperth @stockbridgechurch I would have been performing it again in Edinburgh now...I miss performing it. Looking to do an SA tour soon! 24.01.2022 Dear South Aussie Artists (Visual & Performing) and local businesses! I am setting up a virtual Easter Egg hunt for people to do across Easter via my website. 20.01.2022 It was so wonderful to be back at The Manor Basket Range with Michelle Nightingale for one of our Murder & Music Mysteries! Last night was a 60th birthday party and the guests stayed in the accommodation at the castle. We are able to cater for 20 people and also have a larger space should you not all be known to each other and wish to sit further apart. Do get in touch if you are looking for a unique way to celebrate an occasion or just for a fun night with friends. 18.01.2022 Last night the beautiful Dame Vera Lynn passed away at age 103. Many of you know that before this pandemic I had been performing in a Vera Lynn cabaret and had planned to write to her. Sadly, time slipped away and so last night I wrote a song dedicated to her. Melanie Gall and I have recorded it today and you can have a listen on my website www.emmaknights.com just scroll down a bit and you will find it. It is called "Sincerely Theirs" There is a spot to donate to her charity... Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity if you wish to. I hope you like the song! 14.01.2022 Many of you on here may know my events but may not know about me, Emma Knights! So, I thought I would rectify that! I am a classically trained pianist who has studied at both Elder Conservatorium and Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). I have made my living as an accompanist predominantly and then began Emma Knights Productions - after a tour with Opera Queensland as a piano-playing robot! Recently, I have been doing my own cabaret shows and, due to the pan...demic, have found myself back at university studying my honours in music. I also was also provided support from the Music Development Office - South Australia to record my debut album, Anticipate! It is available to pre-order until the 15th of September and I could not be more excited to be working in this area of my career which has been a long time coming! 12.01.2022 A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last twelve months and I am pleased to be able to announce a small Emma Knights Productions program for this coming Adelaide Fringe! It has been a long time between drinks and I look forward to reconnecting at a live performance with you all again. I am playing for a number of shows but Emma Knights Productions is specifically presenting "Pirates of Penzance", "Myths, Legends and Fantasy" and "Nerd Hits for 20 Fingers: A Piano Duet Concert". 11.01.2022 SEVEN YEARS Today marks Emma Knights Productions 7th birthday! I had this idea that things became easier if you made it to the five year mark. The last two years have been the most difficult and EKP will be running in a much smaller capacity until at least the end of this year. 09.01.2022 I compiled a list of local original musicians (more being added) that could use your support at the moment and music will help pass the time, help with dance parties, help your mood, help you feel whatever you need to feel at the moment and more as we navigate this new world. If you can afford $1 you can purchase at least one song, if you cannot afford it you can stream a song...streaming is not great for us but is still better than nothing. If you like something why not sha...re it to and see if your friends want to buy the tracks too. You get new music, we get a little income which many of us have lost completely. Next, it would be great to see Australian radio stations dedicated to playing at least 40% local Australian music. Hit107 Nova 919 Mix102.3. Lets support each other wherever we can. 06.01.2022 A huge thank you to everyone who watched my 65 Roses Day & CF Awareness Month video and for all the lovely feedback. I set a target of $300 for Cystic Fibrosis SA as times have been tough, I have been blown away by everyone's generosity and the total is now at $705. All the money is going directly to CFSA and so I must thank my beautiful friends and family that were involved in making the video Kat, Joanne Hartstone and Melanie Gall.
