JOB 1: IN HOUSE COOK/CHEF/NEW PRODUCT DEV 20-30 Hours a week.... 10am-3pm - 4-5 days a week. Role involves working in our production facility working on new product development from start to finish. Cooking skills are essential as well as very good computer skills with cloud based apps, spreadsheets. Will involve ordering stock, food safety, industrial manufacturing of goods, working with our machines and processes but most youll have a huge PASSION for good food! We are a very strong team based business and ability to work with our 60+ strong team in Lobethal is also very important. JOB 2: PRODUCTION WORKERS We are looking for 4-5 more production team members to join us onsite. Hours and days are flexible but usually either a morning shift or evening shift. 08.01.2022 TO OUR WONDERFUL STORES AND RETAIL OUTLETS: An update on our deliveries and stock levels over the Christmas period. Hello to all of our valued customers and suppliers. As many of you know there have been some horrible fires in the Adelaide Hills over the last few days. Unfortunately our hometown in Lobethal has been badly affected and one of the worse hit.... Cudlee Creek is the "town over the hill" where it all started, and Lobethal was in the direct path. A number of our staff have extensive property damage, but thankfully no one has been injured or any homes lost. We know of a number in the community who have lost their homes which is devastating. The CFS and emergency services were unbelievable, special thank you to all of them. Our business, and factory is fine but has sustained smoke damage to stock, and the 2 day power outage has forced us to throw-out all of our frozen stock of Emmalines and Marketplace brands from both of our freezers and multiple cool rooms. A lot of our Raw ingredients are also in need of replacement. The image below is taken from Melinda Rankins from our building overlooking what was a lovely backdrop! Our wonderful neighbours Udder Delights, Fruitwise & the Lobethal Bierhaus are all OK but also have a lot of cleanup to do. We are doing our best to send our orders that were supposed to leave on Friday, but orders may be delayed a day or two or short shipped as we find out what stock is and isnt OK. Really appreciate your support as we have some delays and out-of-stocks over coming weeks as we get fully back to service. 01.01.2022 Hello everyone, obviously a huge day for the people of the Adelaide Hills & South Australia. Thoughts are with everyone in affected areas and special thanks to the CFS and Emergency Services whove been amazing all day here in Lobethal. ----... We would just like to put out a quick note to our many stores in SA & VIC that are expecting deliveries this weekend that unfortunately as you can imagine we were unable to pack and send today. We are endeavouring to finish over the weekend so you receive before Christmas, but will be pending our ability to get back onsite. We will be onsite tomorrow to assess the damage as we still have no power and weve been told to expect significant smoke damage to stock. We also have 2 large freezers that are we are unsure of status. ---- At this stage our business is safe, the footage below is of our factory and the flames got VERY close which was a big concern, but we were well prepared and the recently updated fire system worked absolutely perfectly. The beautiful 140 year old Onkaparinga Woollen Mills where we are based has lived through countless fires & countless summers, there is no stopping her!
