22.01.2022 PRIDE ( Hindrance to revival) Definitions :- 1. It is the quality or state of being proud, as in inordinate self-esteem or conceit, or a reasonable or justifiable self-respect or delight or elation arising from some act, possession, or relationship (such as parental pride).... 2. Pride is also defined as proud or disdainful behavior or treatment. 3. Pride is is an ostentatious display. Some signs it is evident in us:- 1. Independent- superiority/ inferiority 2. Easily offended- hurt pride 3. Fear of being known as you really are 4. Have to exhibit control 5. Opinionated about everything. Pride relies on competition Now these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes; that in us you might learn not to go beyond the things which are written; that no one of you be puffed up for the ONE AGAINST THE OTHER . 1 Cor4:6 Gal 6:3, 4 For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each man prove his own work, and then shall he have his glorying in regard of himself alone, and not of his neighbor. UNSPIRITUAL The unspiritual display in what is seen 11 Cor 5:12, We are not again commending ourselves unto you, but speak as giving you occasion of glorying on our behalf, that you may have wherewith to answer them that glory in appearance, and not in heart. PRIDE IS SIN Proverbs 21:4,24 Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin! The proud and haughty man, scoffer is his name; He worketh in the arrogance of pride. The proud and arrogant man--"Mocker" is his name; he behaves with overweening pride. 1. Pride relies on competition or comparing one to another 2. All are tempted by pride 3. Servant leadership is the model Christ portrayed for us. Jesus said if you want to be great - be a servant. Pride was the first sin and it brought mankind great sorrow. It was introduced to earth by Satan and snared Eve then Adam. Sadly, it may be the last sin for many who deny Christ and refuse to surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. As a Christian we are totally dependant on Gods amazing grace. When we repent our heart softens and then we begin to grow into the image of Jesus , by the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit . We learn how liberating it is to forgive, not to take offence and that the Lord in us must have the glory as He works in us and through us. Paul said I have been crucified with Christ ;and it is no longer I that lives but Christ that lives in me, and that life which I now live in the flesh, I live in faith , in the Son of God , Who loved me and gave Himself up for me Gal 2:20 . Our ugly flesh sometimes referred to as the old man has to die daily! UNTO HIM (JESUS ) BE GLORY IN THE CHURCH BOTH NOW AND EVER MORE.

21.01.2022 PLANTED They that are planted in the house of the Lord ;They shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and green:. Psalms 92:13-14 What a wonderful promise to believers as they begin their spiritual journey that they will still be fruitful in maturity. The secret is to be planted in the house of God. This means you get a foundation in your life of the word of God.and learn to become account...able to someone higher than yourself. I was saved as a teenager and became part of a Sunday School where I was taught the Bible stories. My whole life was involved with the church assembly. I love the church and for it there is no replacement. I bloomed where I was planted. As I matured the Bible stories became enriched with Biblical principle and inspired my life tremendously. As a pastor one account that had an impact on me was that of Anna the prophetess who was planted in the house of the Lord. And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher (she was of a great age, having lived with a husband seven years from her virginity, and she had been a widow even unto fourscore and four years), who departed not from the temple, worshipping with fastings and supplications night and day. And coming up at that very hour she gave thanks unto God, and spake of him to all them that were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem. Luke 2:36-38 That has been the motivating force in my life ie telling people about Jesus . The Message Bible says Anna burst into song when she saw the baby Jesus. Even in old age she was spiritually, full of sap and green. The church is a family. It is an assembly not just a gathering where people do not relate to each other. Each one is exhorted to :- Wherefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as also you do. 1 Thess. 5:11. Some believers say assembling is not important but how can you exhort and build someone up if you stay home!!! The early church were planted in the house of God. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. Acts 2 BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED !

The living word is Jesus. The written ( Logos) word is the Bible. When you read the written word the Holy Spirit can quicken ( give life to) a portion of scripture ( rhema) word for YOUR PROBLEM . ISSUE, HEALING etc. That is why we need to READ IT AND HEED IT, Read your Bible and pray every day So that you can GROW, GROW,GROW

20.01.2022 WHAT WE MEMORISE WE UTILISE Your word have I laid up in my heart, That I might not sin against You . Psalms 119:11 It is very important that we hide Gods word in our heart. Therefore shall you lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul; and you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes. Deut. 11:18 . Let not kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them about your neck; Write them upon the tablet of your ...heart Proverbs 3:3 Bind them continually upon you heart; Tie them about your neck. Proverbs 6:21 When Jesus was confronted by Satan in the temptation in the wilderness He answered from within Himself the word of God. It was part of Him. He was the Word made flesh and in the likeness of Adam He had memorised that Word. It flowed out of Him spontaneously. We need to be versed in the Word like He was versed. One thing Satan understands is the Holy Spirit power in the faith quoted Word of the living God. Therefore we have to read the Word. We have to feed on the Word. We need to meditate on the Word. We need to spend time memorising the Word of God so we can answer the enemy when he comes to test us. Paul says in the N.T. And be not fashioned according to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2 The Holy Ghost works with the Word of God. His word is settled forever in heaven. God watches over His Word to perform it. Then said Jehovah unto me, You have well seen: for I watch over My word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12 God has exalted His Word above His Name. I will worship toward Your -holy temple, And give thanks unto Your name for Your lovingkindness and for Your truth: For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.Psalms 138:2 (1694-1778). Voltaire, in his voluminous writings against Christianity and the Bible, predicted in 1776, One hundred years from my day, there will not be a Bible on earth except one that is looked upon by an antiquarian curiosity-seeker. 20.01.2022 FATHERS DAY You shall not bow down yourself unto them, nor serve them; for I, Jehovah, your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the FATHERS upon the children, & upon the third & upon the fourth generation of them that hate me; & showing lovingkindness unto thousands of them that love me & keep my commandments. Deut. 5:9-10 ( A brief summary of Ps John Moalas teaching Sun. night) ... DUTIES OF A FATHER 1. INTERCESSOR is someone who intercedes for others. The FATHER is the priest of his home thus he is the intercessor for his household. Jesus is the great High Priest and intercedes for us. Job interceded for his family in case they had strayed from the Lord. The devil is going around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour so the FATHERLY role of intercession is vital. 2 INSTRUCTOR 1 Sam 30:8 And David inquired of Jehovah, saying, If I pursue after this troop, shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue; for you shall surely overtake them, and shalt without fail recover all. FATHERS should. not only give.direction but be examples and live a godly life before their children. In other words be a good example. . Like FATHER , like. son. . And Omri did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, and dealt wickedly above all that were before him. And Ahab the son of Omri did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah above all that were before him. 1 Kings 16:25, 30 Omri turned from God. AHAB did the same. 2 Chron 26:4 And Uzziah did that which was right in the eyes of Jehovah, according. to all that his FATHER Amaziah had done. FATHERS have to lead the way. 3. PROVIDER ( physically, emotionally, intellectually ) Ephes 6:4 And, you FATHERS , provoke not your children to wrath: but nurture them in the chastening and admonition of the Lord. . Working and providing materially alone is not enough FATHERS have to provide for their children emotionally and intellectually. FATHERS have to provide for the emotional needs of their children so affirmation is very important. If that need has not been met children often grow up offended and then need to forgive their FATHERS 4. PROTECTOR in three areas 1. Physical 2. Moral 3. Emotional God is the Great Shepherd. The FATHER should be like that. Be careful to monitor what your children watch on cyber space. Comics are often morally very impure and sow wrong values. Dont take out your frustration on your children no matter how disappointed you are. Abuse of children is not the answer but to treat them with the same love and mercy that our Heavenly Father treats us. Gods testimony of Abraham For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice; to the end that Jehovah may bring upon Abraham that which he has spoken of him. Genesis 18:19 MAY GOD BLESS ALL THE FATHERS !

19.01.2022 STRENGTH God is our refuge and STRENGTH . A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah Psalm 46:1 -3 This txt clearly says God is our STRENGTH and He is not a God who is far off, therefore we will not fear. The good news is He is a present help in time of trouble. The w...ord strong means :- able to withstand force, pressure, or wear. There are all kinds of pressure we are exposed to in this day and age. Pressure to compromise on the Word of God and pressure to lay aside our moral values embraced because of conviction. The world is constantly trying to wear us down , accusing us being trouble makers. In many countries Christians are exposed to brute force to compromise and turn from following the Lord. Praise God for their spiritual STRENGTH as they draw on Gods STRENGTH to face the persecution. Paul and Silas experienced that brute force in Acts 16 , but sang praises to the Lord in prison.They proved the following And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your STRENGTH & stronghold. Neh. 8:10 (b) Samson had physical STRENGTH from God to achieve physical victory but because of a lack of spiritual STRENGTH he failed in the middle of his life. At the end of his journey his physical and spiritual STRENGTH returned and his end victory for the Lord was more glorious than the beginning although it cost him his life. Joseph had spiritual STRENGTH that enabled the trials he suffered to became like iron in his soul . He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold as a servant. His feet they hurt with fetters; he was laid in chains of iron and his soul entered into the iron, Until his word came true, until the word of the Lord tried and tested him . God then brought Joseph into great honour. Pharaoh made Joseph lord of his house and ruler of all his substance, Psalm 105:17-19,21 In writing to young Timothy Paul writes :- For physical training is of some value (useful for a little), but godliness (spiritual training) is useful and of value in everything and in every way, for it holds promise for the present life and also for the life which is to come. 1 Timothy 4:8 Spiritual STRENGTH from God will keep you from falling when the pressure is on you. That STRENGTH will manifest in the joy of the Lord. The Psalmist said:-You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness,. Psalm 30:11 When we rejoice in the Lord God turns things around. Standing True Right through Every New God ordained Test to enter His victory

17.01.2022 DO WE BELIEVE GOD ? Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man that He should lie neither the son of man that He should repent has He said and shall He not do it has He spoken and shall He not make it Good?" FOR LIFE ... God wants us to believe Him. We all believe ( trust) something or someone. The point is do we BELIEVE Him? DO WE BELIEVE HIS WORD ? JOHN 20:30 " but these are written that you might BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God and that BELIEVING that you might have life through His Name" . You may know about Him but do you know Him? FOR HEALING Matthew 9:28 "do you BELIEVE I am able to do this?" Spoken by Jesus to two blind men Jesus answered " according to your faith be it unto you" FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS Gen. 15:6 "Abraham BELIEVED God & it was accounted unto him for righteousness" TO BE REWARDED Heb 11:6 " for without faith it is impossible to please God he that comes to Him must BELIEVE that He is and is a rewarded of those who diligently seek Him" TO EXCAPE CONDEMNATION John 3:18 "He that BELIEVES on Him is not condemned but He that BELIEVES not on Him is condemned already because He has not BELIEVED in the Name of the only begotten son of God" TO BE SAVED If we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and BELIEVE in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved for with the heart man BELIEVES unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" Romans 10:9,10 TO BE KEPT PROTECTED Paul said" I know whom I have BELIEVED and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day" TO SPEAK POSITIVELY 11 Cor 4:13 "we therefore having the same spirit of faith according as it is written "I BELIEVED and therefore have I spoken we also BELIEVE and therefore speak" TO PROSPER 11Chron 20:20 " BELIEVE in the Lord your God so will you be established BELIEVE His prophets so shall you prosper" FAITH IN ACTION Jean Franois Gravelet-Blondin, known as the Great Blondin, began a famous series of tightrope walks across the Niagara gorge. The act drew crowds as large as 25,000 people. Blondin crossed in increasingly difficult ways, riding a bicycle, pushing a wheelbarrow and even with his hands and legs bound in chains. One time he asked a tourist who came did he believe he could push him in a wheel barrow across the Falls and the answer was a resounding YES . 17.01.2022 ARE YOU READY ( part 2) Lift up your heads, O ye gates; Yea, lift them up, you everlasting doors: And the King of glory will come in. Who is this King of glory? Jehovah of hosts, He is the King of glory. [Selah. Psalms 24:9-10 PREPARATION WITHOUT EXPECTATION ... In Acts 12 : 1-17 we read of the continuing prayer life of the early church which began in Acts 2 And day by day, continuing stedfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to them day by day those that were saved. They were flowing in revival mode. When James was beheaded by Herod and he saw it pleased the people he ordered that Peter be taken and imprisoned. Peter therefore was kept in the prison: but prayer was made earnestly of the church unto God for him. Acts 12:5 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shined in the cell: and he smote Peter on the side, and awoke him, saying, Rise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. Acts 12:7 Peter was led out, past the guards and went to the house of Mary , the mother of John Mark where MANY were gathered and praying. A young woman Phoda came to the door because Peter was knocking at the door. She RECOGNISED THE MIRACLE ANSWER TO THEIR PRAYERS and ran to tell the others with great joy , but the rest did not believe her. They were PREPARED BUT NOT EXPECTANT. Question is we need to be sensitive when God moves otherwise we TOO.will leave the miraculous outside the door! We have not only to be prepared but also to be expectant. Prayer gives license for God to move in the earth. We are told to pray without ceasing. That doesnt mean talk without ceasing but for our spirit to be in constant communion with God. God moves in mysterious ways. We cannot put him in a box . The church made Peter wait a long time outside the door. They prayed but didnt expect. I was challenged by this message to be more expectant for God to come miraculously and save people. Yes we will disciple them by His grace and experience the joy of Psalm 126 . God sent a young woman to me years ago , from YWAM , to tell me YOU ARE GOING TO SEE IT. I had been praying and fasting and saying to the Lord I know revival is coming but am I going to see it? When Jehovah brought back those that returned to Zion, We were like unto them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing: Then said they among the nations, Jehovah hath done great things for them. Jehovah hath done great things for us, Whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O Jehovah, As the streams in the South. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with joy, bringing his sheaves with him. Psalms 126:1-6

17.01.2022 REPENTANCE because the MIND of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be: Rom. 8:7 This scripture tells us how importance repentance is for salvation. The mind we inherited from out forbears is an ENEMY of God. It further states it CANNOT BE SUBJECT TO GOD . Therefore it has to be changed by repentance i.e a turning back to God. 15.01.2022 MIND OF THE SPIRIT There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Proverbs 16:25 The carnal mind is an enemy of God. because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be: Rom. 8:7... It cannot understand that God only accepts the fruit of what He initiates in our lives. That fruit is the result of being born again. At that birth a seed is sown ( just like natural conception) . That seed is planted by the Holy Spirit. You cannot manufacture it because it is a divine work. New life begins and the fruit of the spirit begins to manifest. Just as a baby has to receive love, affirmation, food and is nurtured so this new spiritual life has to receive the same. Worship ,prayer, bible reading /study and spiritual fellowship all contribute to this new growth. Some believers wonder why they get discouraged . When we neglect our spirit man he becomes weak through undernourishment. As we read and feed on the word of God our mind is renewed and Gods way of thinking and behaving brings us into life and peace. but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:. Romans 8:6 (b) . We begin to think in a different way. Gods way is totally opposite the way of the world. God tells us to love our enemies, dont hoard money , bless the people that hurt us etc. Let us look at the early church that absolutely thrived. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Acts 2:42 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:45-47 They were a community living for the Lord , constantly fellowshipping and taking care of each others needs. They were so on fire in outreach , people were getting saved EVERY DAY. Not only were they getting saved but they were joining the church. Let us determine to feed our spirit man and keep in prayer. Come to Gods house as often as you can. not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. 13.01.2022 RESTORATION Definition:- the action of returning something to a former owner, place, or condition I beseech you for my child, whom I have begotten in my bonds, Onesimus, who once was unprofitable to you, but now is profitable to you and to me:Philemon 1:10-11 ... It is commonly thought Onesimus was a run away slave who had stolen from Philemon , a highly respected Christian , who led a house church. Paul felt after Onesimus became converted , he should return and be reconciled to Philemon in Colossae and be restored into service. Paul was a prisoner in Rome , and somehow had ministered to Onesimus and was appealing to Philemon by letter to restore him , and more than that, receive him as a brother in Christ. Paul suggested Onesimus could now be profitable to him .There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither bond nor free, there can be no male and female; for you all are one man in Christ Jesus Galatians 3:28 Onesimus was restored With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you . Colossians 4:9 Restoration after conversion is a good practice , I believe , blessed by God. When Zaccheous became converted , he set about , to restore money to the people he had robbed , four times what he had taken. And Zacchus stood, and said unto the Lord, Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wrongfully exacted aught of any man, I restore fourfold. Luke 19:8 On a deeper note , it would appear, for King David to retain his royal place:( lineage) after he sinned with Bathsheba and had Uriah murdered , he had to bear his pronounced punishment of himself . He lost four sons. He lost a baby, Amnon, Absolam and Adonijah. David pronounced this on himself and he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity. 2 Samuel 12:6 IF A man steals an ox or sheep and kills or sells it, he shall pay five oxen for an ox, or four sheep for a sheep. Exodus 22:1 . This was the O.T. law of restitution. The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures He leads me beside the still waters. He RESTORES my soul He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil For You are with me Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies You anoint my head with oil My cup runs over. 11.01.2022 GO BACK - make it right - GO ON Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.Proverbs 3:5-6 Isnt it amazing the number of people , God spoke to , who ran away from a hard place , to go back and make it right. The challenge was , to trust God , that on their return , God w...ould make a way for them. Hagar ran away when she was pregnant to Abraham after getting out of line with Sarah. when she saw that she was with child, she looked with contempt upon her mistress and despised her. Genesis 16:4 . It was expected Hagar would be a surrogate mother not the next Mrs Abraham. She ran away and an angel told her to GO BACK . The Angel of the Lord said to her, GO BACK to your mistress and [humbly] submit to her control. Gen. 16:9 . In other words she was told to humble herself and let the Lord work out her future. After years of working for Laban , his father in law God told Jacob to GO BACK and make it right with his father Isaac , whom he had deceived , and brother Esau . I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed the pillar and where you vowed a vow to Me. Now arise, get out from this land and return to your native land. Genesis 31:13 God told Jacob to GO BACK and make it right before he could legally inherit the blessing. Moses ran away from Pharaohs household and ended up in a wilderness for 40 years . God met him at a burning bush and instructed him to return to Egypt saying, Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and will teach you what you shall say. Exodus 4:12 God told him to GO BACK to Egypt to fulfil his calling and deliver the now formed Nation of Israel. Onesimus was a run away slave whom Paul told to GO BACK to his master who it appears he has robbed. I am sending him BACK to you in his own person, [and it is like sending] my very heart. Philemon 1:12 It seems Onesimus became converted in Rome but before he could grow spiritually he had to make it right with Philemon, so Paul wrote a plea letter to Philemon asking him to receive Onesimus as a brother . We all FEEL like running away when things get hard in our lives. But , we cannot afford to run . We have to face the difficult situation. Many times we are confined to be refined , and our flesh doesnt like it at all. We have to be like David when he faced the giant Goliath, overcoming all fear because he trusted God to deliver him. I will trust and will not be afraid Tho I walk in sunshine or in shade Jesus walks along the road with me And He guides my footsteps constantly I can sing a happy song tho shadows fall For my Lord is there to hear my faintest call When the lights of earth grow dim and fade Ill trust in Him I will not be afraid

08.01.2022 BUILDERS As someone has said God is the architect of the church and we are the builders. John Wesley said The builders die but the building must go on. This week one of the strong leaders in the Queensland ACC , Pastor John Lewis went to be with the Lord and many are praying for his widow Val and their family. Ps Margaret Pashley and hundreds were inspired by him and continuing the building of the church. Ps John Moala was preaching about Nehemiah on Sunday mornin...g and he said Every single family were part of the building of the wall. He was speaking of the wall that Nehemiah was rebuilding being in disrepair, It reminded me of a message preached by Pastor Gordon Ditton years ago with the main theme It was ONLY THOSE who helped build the Ark of Noah that were in the Ark and saved when the flood came . Interesting to contemplate dont you think? We should all, I think ask ourselves What are we doing to build the kingdom of God here and abroad? The Sanballots and Tobiass of this world , orchestrated by Satan are very busy trying to destroy churches, families and individual lives. Sadly some opponents are within the universal church but most opponents in the western world seem to be in the media. Many presenters seem to delight in mocking Christianity. The Lord has given us the Holy Spirit to keep ourselves built up to face the challenges of this present life.But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit;. Jude 1:20 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12 The Question ? I watched them tearing a building down a gang of men in a busy town, with a yo heave ho and a gusty yell they swung the beam and the side wall fell I asked,the foreman were these men skilled the type I would hire if I wanted to build? Why no indeed common labor is all I need, they can easy wreck in a day or two what it has taken builders years to do I asked myself, as I went my way Which of these rolls have I played today Am I a builder that works with care Measuring life with the rule and square Or, am I a wrecker that walks the town content with the labor of tearing down? 07.01.2022 PAYBACK Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath of God: for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord.Romans 12:19 How much destruction, death and tragedy has been effected by people, persons, tribes or nations taking situations into their own hands by payback. In almost every case it involves the offended being judge and jury. Our text clearly says that as Christians we are to let God judge and execute ...appropriate discipline. Think of the tragedy when Absolam murdered his brother Amnon for raping his sister Tamar. He was paying him back by cunning intrigue. He pretended to celebrate his birthday, instead he killed him.This payback had a ripple effect and led to a string of events that hurt his family and affected a whole nation. From little acorns big trees grow. In 1956 Huaorani tribesmen ( also called Auca meaning in Quichua savage) in Ecuador speared five American missionaries. The deaths of Peter Fleming, 27; Jim Elliot, 28; Ed McCully, 28; Roger Youderian, 31, and Nate Saint, 32, made headlines for weeks.Instead of payback Elisabeth Elliot , Jims widow returned with other missionaries and the Ecuadoran tribe was transformed and became Christians. Written in Jims diary were these words "He is no fool who parts with that which he cannot keep, when he is sure to be recompensed with that which he cannot lose". We have to leave all judgement to the Lord and not seek payback for any wrong done to us. Jesus didnt seek any revenge whatsoever. His trial was illegal. The accusations against Him were false. Jew and Gentile both played a part in His crucifixion displayed before the world. Jesus prayed Father, forgive them , for they know not what they do. In other words He put their crime in the category of ignorance, which is a lesser crime than the sin of presumption. As children of God dont let us seek revenge for wrongs done to us. Let us give everything over to the the greatest Judge who said Vengeance is mine. I will repay. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for [Gods] wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay (requite), says the Lord. 07.01.2022 THE POWER OF ONE From little acorns big trees grow Some times we wonder what difference , if any , one life can make in the midst of dire circumstances. One person , inspired by God can change the course of history. ... Think of Noah. Because he found grace in the eyes of the Lord the whole physical world was saved from utter destruction. He endured mocking as he preached repentance. Everyone around him were pleasure seeking I.e. eating and drinking , marrying and giving in marriage His family were all saved , indicating he lived a God fearing life at home. No doubt he treated his only wife with love , his sons also had but one wife. They followed in fathers footsteps. Think of Esther who won a beauty pageant and became Queen. Esther put her life on the line to save the seed , promised in Gen 3:15. Hamans plot was to kill every Jew meaning the promised Messiah could never have be born. Queen Esther prayed and fasted as did others with her and what the devil meant for evil God turned for the good of the Jews for whom God had a great destiny. Think of David Livingstone who is known as "Africas greatest missionary," yet he is recorded as having converted only one African: Sechele, who was the chief of the Kwena people of Botswana . Sechele was born in 1812. His father died when Sechele was 10, and two of his uncles divided the tribe, which forced Sechele to leave his home for nine years. When Sechele returned, he took over one of his uncles tribes; at that point, he met David Livingstone who was known through a large part of Africa for treating the tribal people with respect, and the tribes that he visited returned his respect with faith and loyalty. Think of Jesus who saved the spiritual world by making a way for the descendants of Adam and Eve to escape eternal damnation. Adam introduced death by his wilful disobedience which was sin , For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ out Lord. ( Rom 6:23) Jesus enabled us to receive eternal life For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Cor.15:21-22 You can make a difference , so dont give up in what God has called you to do , no matter how few or many are following,

04.01.2022 TAUGHT & CAUGHT I am thankful that I grew up in a home where my parents loved each other. They were not practising Christians , but my mother was happy to send us to Sunday School , when we moved to a house , in between two Pentecostal Sunday School Teachers . We walked to Sunday School and back about 3 kilometres. We loved it and learned the Bible Stories . We got attendance prizes and learned scripture verses, had celebrations for good attendance etc, I thank the Lord fo...r the Sunday School Superintendent who was faithful and so encouraging. He and his wife would take us to their home and we four girls loved their beautiful biscuits. We only had broken biscuits in our home. They sowed love into all the children they taught. I still remember the sweet fellowship. Never overlook FOOD when ministering to children. My Sunday School teacher would tell us about the baptism of the Holy Spirit and I just hungered for what she had received. I hadnt a clue what it was , but was attracted to the atmosphere produced when she spoke about being filled with the spirit. I now know that was the anointing . I received the experience some years later when I became desperate . I didnt want to fall on the floor , but got to the place, where I didnt care what happened I wanted to receive that infilling. Praise God it was rivers that flowed that night , when I spoke in tongues fluently. They still flow , bringing new life. I cannot understand people ,who read the word ,opposing speaking in tongues. It is all through the book of Acts. In Acts 2 there were 120 who spoke in tongues , including the women. In Acts 2 Peter reminded the 3000 it was promised by Jesus. The Samaritans spoke in tongues, ( Acts 8 ) Paul spoke in tongues ( 1 Cor 14) Cornelius household spoke in tongues,(Acts 10) the 12 men in Ephesus spoke in tongues ( Acts 19) .Today millions speak in tongues. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the [Holy] Spirit. Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices [and instruments] & making melody with all your heart to the Lord,Ephesians 5:18-19 Therefore select out from among yourselves, brethren, seven men of good and attested character and repute, full of the [Holy] Spirit and wisdom, whom we may assign to look after this business and duty. Acts 6:3 Oh Christ of burning cleansing flame, Send the fire! Send the fire ! . Send the fire! This blood bought gift today we claim Send the fire! Send the fire! Send the fire! 03.01.2022 OBEDIENCE PROVES BELIEF "If you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land"Isaiah 1:19 Belief is not just in our mind (emotions) (up and down) but IN our heart (our spirit). Noah believed God and he built an Ark. Abraham believed God and he left his native land looking for a city whose builder and maker is God. Joshua and Caleb believed God and said "let us go up at once and possess it". David believed God and said , " the same Lord that enabled me to ...deliver the lamb out of the paw of the lion and the bear will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine" (speaking of Goliath) Jesus believed God when He said " The gates of hell shall not prevail against the church"- this was before He went to the cross Numbers 20:12 " because you BELIEVED me not, to sanctify Me , in the eyes of the children of Israel therefore you shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them" spoken to Moses and Aaron-two great leaders. When Moses began he was humble and obedient. He interceded for Miriam when she led a rebellion against him. When we believe we obey and we are submissive. Moses did not obey , when he smote the Rock ( type of Christ) twice. He was irritated by the congregation who complained all the time. They saw Moses as another Pharaoh and themselves as his slaves. He lost his temper and hit the Rock on the second occasion and shouted at the people. He became more aware of the faults in Gods people and allowed his emotions over rule his own responsibility to obey God. He had forgotten an important principle in life ie "we cannot change anyone" only God can. Our bad temper working through our tongue wont change anyone on the inside. His example should speak to all leaders. I cant change anyone only God can. How many unhappy marriages there are , because married people try to change each other. Better check out your choice of a spouse before you enter covenant with them. How can two walk together unless they are agreed? Out of the twelve spies sent out by Moses only two believed God. Joshua and Caleb believed God " let us go up at once and possess it for we are well able to overcome it. They did just that when , being the only two leaders from the wilderness, to enter the Promised land . Our believing is shown by our obedience. Peter believed Jesus when he stepped out of the boat and walked on the sea at the invitation of Jesus What caused him to sink?. He lost his God consciousness and became circumstance conscious. LET US BELIEVE WE ARE SONS OF GOD Let us have a son mentality not that of a slave. A slave has no inheritance . He/she does not even get wages just bare necessities. A slave has no option but to obey. A son obeys because he /she loves A slave is not free to come and go A son is free . Wherefore you are no more a slave , but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Galatians 4:7
