18.01.2022 Really good, really real.

16.01.2022 Acupressure is a safe and effective way to encourage a natural labour. The points are on the acupuncture channels and each one has a myriad of benefits. For example, Spleen 6 ripens cervix, alleviates anxiety, promotes contractions and so much more. I have created an e-book attached to link. Please use and share with any friends/ partners who are pregnant. Can use the points from 36 weeks onwards. Perfect for birth partner involvement.

15.01.2022 My lovely client is running this meditation course for new anxious mums.

14.01.2022 This looks great, for anyone feeling a menopausal or getting there! Let's embrace this next phase.

14.01.2022 Are you feeling run down, bloated or have digestive issues? This acupuncture point (Stomach 36) on the stomach channel is great to improve wellbeing and digestive function. It’s in a small 5-10cent sized depression just below your knee. Press the spot on both legs for 1-2 minutes once a day to stimulate digestive function and boost Qi (energy) and blood. In TCM the Spleen & Stomach channels relate to the earth element and Stomach 36 is also an earth point, so its a double earth point and very grounding if you are feeling scattered. Let me know if you love this point. Safe to do on babies, pregnant and elderly humans.

13.01.2022 When you come for an acupuncture treatment with me, you get to zen out in the 10th coolest suburb in the world . I'm very happy to have my clinic in the heart of Marrickville, surrounded by amazing restaurants and my community.

13.01.2022 ETHICAL XMAS GIFT IDEAS for the people that have it all... I'm going to get my dad the three live piglets to donate to a mum in Vanuatu. When you buy an Oxfam Unwrapped gift, you are helping to transform lives. Whether you gift a goat, a chicken, or a well, you are empowering families, and even entire communities, with the practical resources they need to lift themselves out of poverty. Unwrapped gifts are real items that we use to tackle poverty.... https://unwrapped.oxfam.org.au/occa/charity-christmas-gifts

10.01.2022 I just love this artist! Hope you all have a cosy weekend. Xx. @michellefogartycreations

09.01.2022 Let's get some Headspace together. Just a few minutes a day can reduce your stress and help you sleep better. With the added Xmas stress of Covid cases in NSW, meditating daily is a damn good idea as a 5-10 minute morning ritual or any time you feel overwhelmed. This is also the perfect sustainable present for a loved one. Xx.

09.01.2022 PREGNANCY NAUSEA ACUPRESSURE: All the hormones raging through you during pregnancy can make you feel terrible! I promise it will pass. These fabulous acupressure points may help settle nausea, dry wrenching and the urge to vomit. According to Chinese medicine, the Stomach Qi usually descends. As the baby is growing, this can make the Stomach Qi Rebel, as ascend; creating a sense of queasiness and nausea. We want to gently harmonise the Rebel Stomach Qi. ... There are three acupressure points in pics. You can press one side or both sides of body. Hold the points with finger or thumb pressure for 1-2 minutes, doing slow deep breaths. Do a few times a day if you need too. I have wrist bands in the clinic that press on the inner wrist point (Pericardium 6), if you want some. This point also helps reduce anxiety (great point!). Acupuncture is a stronger form of treatment. Doing acupuncture and acupressure works really well together. If you have any questions, dm me or write below. PS remember to snack often to regulate your blood sugar levels and stay hydrated. PPS congratulations and best wishes! Pics: @peterjdeadman

08.01.2022 This gluten free bakery in Waverley has been on my bucket list for ages and I’m finally here! So excited. It’s coeliac friendly. I’m not gluten intolerant, I just get bloated / tired from wheat so prefer delicious GF options. Hope you’re having a good day!

08.01.2022 It’s great to see all the powerful and inspiring women I know supporting and validating each other through this unexpected year which has forced us to adapt swiftly. Thank you to the huge and diverse community of incredible women I know and love. I feel so blessed to have you in my life, supporting each other on the long winding path. It’s such a bonus that part of being a lady boss and entrepreneur means connecting with all of you (both clients, friends and practitioners).... #challengeaccepted #womensupportingwomen #womensupportingwomeninbusiness Thanks @rachael_haley_acupuncture for the challenge I invite @Nash i_ferguson (who took this pic) @emma_vee @healthyqiacupuncture @kindled_spirit @kirstenwolfe_acupuncture @helenjacobs.co @rockandco

07.01.2022 Home inspo. How many indoor plants do you have? I just counted 20 in my flat!! Including lemon thyme and parsley. Plants are good for your mental and physical health as they: -improve air quality & reduce pollutants ... -reduce stress & boost your mood -create a sense of calm (hence my place feeling like a jungle) -make your home beautiful -improve creativity & productivity (studies say by 15%) -make a house a home From a Chinese medicine perspective, green plants correlate to the element Wood, which in turn harmonises the Liver & Gall bladder yin yang channels and organ systems. When these are blocked it can create feelings of frustration, so being surrounded by plants either indoors or outdoors helps to create a sense of peace and balance. Pic: @plantssparkjoy

03.01.2022 Happy international dog day! Shout out to my favourite dog in the world, Jasper. He has passed now but was my best friend and accompanied me on so many wild and fun chapters (including studying TCM). Dogs are the best! Kiss your dog for me if you have one.

03.01.2022 Stop scrolling and try this. Easy and energising. Let me know what you think.
