25.01.2022 Sunday seshed! Today was fantastic! Beach trip for a picnic and a walk along the coast, signed up at a new gym, and finished meal prep for next week ; what a successful Sunday!... Work hard, eat well, be happy Raven



24.01.2022 Great day off work! Blood donation this morning, christmas shopping, new nike shorts, study afternoon and gym this evening! I even beat my persoal best 500m row by five seconds :) If youre interested in giving blood I want to start a blood donating group! ... Early mornings once every 4 months ( for whole blood) and after head down to a cafe for some breakfast :) My next scheduled apointment is the 8th February should you wish to join me! Theres no better gift to give this christmas than blood!

24.01.2022 Baking time! Making Matt my sous chef ;) My chocolate, peanut butter and coconut cookies! (Sounds kinda gross but I reckon its a taste sensation!)... Matt didnt like them too much as they had peanut butter and coconut in them but I think thats down to personal preference. I used brazil nuts and coconut shavings for a crunchy texture. Baked protein tends to become quite rubbery and soft so never use more than 1/8th of the recipe with protein powder or youre going to have a bad time If youre looking for high protein content without using too much protein powder you can always use other protein rich foods such as eggs and brazil nuts! Macros per cookie: Protein: 11.1g Carbs: 9g Fats: 15.5g I use extra coconut oil in my foods as I find I dont meet my fat goals per day but can hit my carb and protein super easy (hence why a higher fat content)

23.01.2022 This mornings workout! 25 minutes on a 10% incline treadmill. 10 minutes on the stair master. And my overnight oats with an iced mocha! (Cold brew coffee, ice, water, chocolate brownie protein powder) ... Work hard, eat well, be happy Raven



23.01.2022 Transformation Tuesday! First 18 months: 86kgs to 68kgs with healthy eating, counting macros, and regular exercise! The last six months: 68kgs with minimal muscle mass to 73kgs with much more muscle mass, definition, energy, increased weights and athletic performance! ... Was it easy? Hell no. Was it worth it? Heck yes! It took a lot of will power to initiate this lifestyle change, after that it just kinda snowballed off! Its now one of my passions; I now look forward to working out and eating well! Sometimes I do fall off the band wagon for a while but keeping my goals in my mind always keeps me on track. I like to think about it like this: Theres 24 hours in a day and you chose how to spend those 24 hours. You could nap all afternoon or you could read a book or do some study, go to the gym, or be social with friends. How do you think people like Oprah spend their 24 hours? Time is so valuable and yet we tend to waste it! Your time is NOW, not next week. Work hard, challenge yourself physically and mentally, and look after your health!

20.01.2022 Guys! If youre like me with early mornings and just dont have the time to make a healthy breakfast youll love this one. (Its an oldie but a goodie!) Overnight oats: Oats mixed with equal parts milk and yoghurt, some fresh fruit, nut butter ( I usually have almond butter but Im running low so I opted for peanut butter instead), shaved coconut and chia seeds. If you are a bit of a sweet tooth chuck in a bit of honey or some splenda. (I tend to find if you use really ripe s...trawberries they make it perfectally sweet!) Tomorrow morning Ill be up at 4:00am for a cardio session and Ill have one of these bad boys waiting for me when I get back, then strait to work! Work hard, eat well, be happy Raven

16.01.2022 Back and chest day at Plus Fitness, shopping, and more meal prep! Around 4 months ago I went into a sports store and tried on some skin tight shorts and sports bras, unfortunately then they didnt look too great on me at the time. (I wish I had taken photos as a comparison) I left that day gutted and it really knocked my self confidence back; I went in today and tried them on... they looked amazing! Best moment was when the price tag said 75% off. I suppose some things are wo...rth waiting for! ;) Meal prep today is Kim-chi! Its basically Koreas version of sauerkraut, except spicy! Its full of flavor and goes great with rice and chicken. I decided to make my own using jars from Ikea to ferment it. You can kim-chi pre-made at any Asian grocery store but it usually contains loads of added salt. Ive taken out most of the salt to make it healthier, plus it saves money! I actually think it tastes way nicer with less salt. It takes around a week to ferment, after that its ready to go!



15.01.2022 Macro friendly frapp! When youre craving a sugary ice coffee frapp but really want to cut out the sugar, heres a good substitute! Its not as good as a maccas coffee frapp but its still refreshing and sweet! ;)... Blended ice, coconut milk/ soy milk/ regular milk (I like to change up the milk now and then) Espresso ( I use a Nescafe pod coffee extractor) 2 teaspoons of splenda/ stevia/ equal or alike sweetners (substitute for the sugar) And a small scoop of ice cream! Bam!

13.01.2022 This mornings cardio session! I tried to take a selfi at 44 minutes in and this was the result! (Hey, at least I still had a smile on my face! ) The top three things that get me ready for my day: ... 1.Listeing to one of my favourite motivational speakers and music 2. A session of cardio 3. A taste sensation for breakfast! Long gone are the days of "fad dieting", restrictive eating, and borning salads every day! Change your lifestyle, not your diet. Dieting is a short term goal but Im sure were all aiming for the long haul for good health, happiness, and body positivity! Work hard, eat well, be happy Raven

10.01.2022 Monday shoulder mayhem! Managed to fit in a 45 minute shoulder workout before heading home for dinner. Hot baths and heat packs two days in a row from "the hammy destroyer" at the new gym! Oh and Im so happy with how the meat balls turned out woo!

09.01.2022 This mornings cardio, abs and breakfast session! Lets face it, were all human and most of us dislike mornings and cardio and sometimes its hard to find the strength to get up and do it. However when you power yourself with great motivation it gets you through it with a smile on your face! On a morning youre most impressionable within the first 20 minutes of waking up.
