24.01.2022 Four hours to go until the Christmas Baby bears are released!! (Sounds like they’re wild animals being sent back to the woods ) This little darling has stolen my heart with her squishy little face and plum pudding onesie!!

16.01.2022 The 2020 Christmas Baby Bear Collection will be listed on our website tomorrow, Monday the 30th November at 1pm AEST (24hrs from the time of this post!). Www.furaddiction.com (Technical difficulties meant I couldn’t get them listed today, I’m so sorry ). Thank you all so much for the name suggestions too! It really, really helps!!

12.01.2022 Our many, many Christmas bear paws have all been stuffed and sculpted, so now it’s time for shading! (I do find this detail quite satisfying! )

12.01.2022 For a little extra point of difference, we’ll have two faux fur Christmas baby bears available in our Christmas release - along with the 7 mohair bears (who you can see lined up in the background!). We’re so close now too, only one more bear to finish up!!

08.01.2022 And another one is nearly finished!! The excitement is now building for me as I convert those bags of teddy pieces into finished bears full of life and character. This one seemed particularly lonely and in need of a cuddle! (And perhaps some stuffing! )

07.01.2022 So I may have bitten off more then I can chew when I decided in mid November that it was time to make a big batch of Christmas bears! I just kept dreaming up more and more colour combinations until I had NINE piles of bear bits to assemble! To avoid extra confusion as I work, each pile of bear bits is bagged, and stays in its bag until right at the end of the crafting process (I don’t want to be putting the wrong head on the wrong body!). So this is how my work space ends up looking for the duration of big bear batch collections - like I’ve trapped wild creatures in ziplock bags!

05.01.2022 Christmas baby bears are done!!! Who is your favourite? Now we just need to come up with a lot of Christmas themed names, and have an extensive photo shoot! We’ll let you guys know when they’re ready for adoption - hopefully tomorrow evening as Christmas is getting closer and closer!? But I might be a little optimistic thinking I can have the listings ready by tomorrow!
