21.01.2022 What a great Eisteddfod! I am so proud of all of my students. We walked away with plenty of firsts, seconds, thirds and highly commended awards - and of course, plenty of smiles too. To see so many students performing in public for the first time is fantastic. Congrats again everyone. I have added a few photos but unfortunately, I only got a chance to get a photo with a few of my students. If you have a photo from Eisteddfod that you would like to share, feel free to post and tag me in it so I can see it - Miss Emma

21.01.2022 A great article in the Central Telegraph last Friday (with a few little quotes from Miss Emma in there too ). Only one more lesson until Eisteddfod - remember, practice every night and you will be prepared and confident on the day! Can't wait to see some fantastic performances.

21.01.2022 The Emma’s Dramatics School Holiday Workshop is back! Due to high demand, I have decided to run another school holiday workshop these holidays on Monday the 29th of June. This workshop will run from 1pm 3pm and all children aged 5 12 are welcome, no drama experience necessary. These workshops focus on building confidence, stage presence and creativity within young people. Using dramatic games helps young people build confidence while making friends in a group setting, with proven results. I am a qualified, young and supportive teacher with experience in teaching since the opening of Emma’s Dramatics in 2014. The workshop will cost $15 per child to cover equipment and venue hire. Hurry, spots are strictly limited and will sell quickly! For more information and bookings, please personal message the Emma's Dramatics Facebook page.

10.01.2022 Hi all, I have a few people asking about my teaching qualifications so I just thought I would make a post here to answer any questions. I currently have completed 6 examinations through Trinity College London, one of the leading providers of dramatics education. I currently hold my Advanced Performer's Certificate and will have my diploma by the end of the year. I am currently a member of Communication, Speech and Performance Teachers Inc. (formally known as Speech and Drama ...Teacher's Association Queensland) . I also hold my own insurance. In other news, I am hoping to run another school holiday workshop these coming holidays. If you would like to express your interest, please message me. I don't have any details confirmed yet but am hoping to run it on or around the 29th of June. Sorry for such a long post, just thought I'd answer some FAQs publicly. - Emma.

09.01.2022 Well, Eisteddfod is over! The Emma's Dramatics' students have done a fantastic job and I am very proud of everyone's achievements. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to get a photo with everyone but here are a few photos and results from the week!

07.01.2022 Emma's Dramatics students have had lots of fun this week making short films! They will be released on this Facebook page in the next two weeks. The students came up with their own story in a group with almost no guidance, so we will definitely have some very funny films! Keep an eye out for them and great work to all the students for their hard work.

07.01.2022 ONLY FOUR SPOTS LEFT! If you are still interested about doing the Emma's Dramatics workshop on the 29th of June and haven't messaged me or payed, please feel free to do so. For more information, please read the last post on this Facebook page or message me. Thanks, Emma.

06.01.2022 I finally received my Associate Speech and Drama Diploma certificate today! It's been a long wait so I'm very excited! Maybe we'll see some Emma's Dramatics students work towards this qualification one day?

05.01.2022 I'm very proud to show you all the video projects the students have been working on this term. Our unit focused on storytelling and these videos definitely show the progress all my students have made. In this video, Chloe tells a story of her crazy day at the zoo. Because Chloe is in a private lesson, we had to do a slightly different project but I'm sure you'll agree that she is a very entertaining storyteller. Congrats Chloe! - Emma
