14.01.2022 You often see Rugby League Players go to boxing every so often right? How about the Open Women’s Team from the Dora Creek Swampies! Last night, I had the opportunity to train these ladies in a bit of a switch up to their normal training incorporating some boxing into it! Every single player put in 100% and worked so hard completing the whole session! I’d like to thank the girls for having me and good luck to them in the rest of their season! Hopefully the aggression I saw last night punching the bags can be taken with you to the games in your tackles!!

11.01.2022 Alrighty guys! I’m currently in the middle of developing a 5 week exercise program that you can do completely in the comfort of your own home! For $50 you will get 5 weeks of full body training, check ins from me to see how you are going with the program (I’ll be readily available for any questions and concerns you may have) and some nutrition tips with some recipes and snacks included! I will have regressions and progressions of exercises that will suit those who are new t...o working out and those who have had experience in exercising! At the end of every week I will be running a zoom workout for you to join in on and which will be completely up to you whether or not you will join in! I’ll include other tips and tricks on how to maintain fitness whilst gyms are closed. Let’s keep ourselves fit and adapt to the changes we are facing! Depending on the interest we can start either Monday the 13th or Monday the 20th! If you are interested comment on this post and I’ll send you a message!

09.01.2022 It’s been an absolute nightmare of a year for fitness hasn’t it... Gym closures, sport cancellations, competitions postponed... heck even the Olympics were moved to 2021... I won’t lie, I found myself in a slump not wanting to train, not knowing what I was going to do.... Is there a point to continue training if there’s no fights this year? I found myself asking this question so many times! It was so hard to find the motivation sometimes and that IT IS OKAY! Not knowing when things are going to be normal makes goals hard right... so why keep them? WRONG Yes, it’s okay to feel down, it’s okay to have an off day or even a week, it is also more then okay to have a rest day! But what is not okay is giving up on something you have been working towards. This was a little setback for not only yourself but everyone around you! If you had a deadline for a goal you can most definitely move that deadline to a later date! Adapt and move on! Keep working! YOU are NOT the ONLY one this pandemic has effected! TOGETHER WE CAN ADAPT TO CHANGE! Uplift everybody and uplift yourself. It’s important to encourage your peers and celebrate their successes! We need to come together (without physically coming together-RESTRICTIONS MY PEOPLE) and continue to build each other up! See more

06.01.2022 Recently completing my cert IV in fitness I’ve joined the team at Shore Thing Fitness! I have a strong appreciation and passion for health and fitness always have and will always continue to do so! I’ve had a lot of experience throughout the years in health and exercise! Competing at high levels in track & field and more recently turned to boxing after a knee injury but have been working hard and I am now competing at national levels in it! Fun fact... I’m also a Type 1... Diabetic and this has helped me along the way through the years of training giving me an understanding of the troubles many people face with exercise! My goal is to help you reach your goals! I love helping people, I get no greater sense of pride than watching people smile after a great workout or realising the results they are getting! 01.01.2022 So proud of and thankful for Dana Gill for sticking by me trusting me in continuing to train her through these hard timesToday I went to her and she showed me what equipment she had and we worked with that With the unknown of restriction change , I showed Dana what she can utilise for her workouts whilst assuring her that if it does come to not being able to run One-On-One sessions that we can still continue our progress through FaceTime/zoom or any other online measures Thanks for trusting me in training you Dana Improving every session!

01.01.2022 Time to regather and reset! Don’t be afraid to lower the -reps -weight ... -days working out As we shift back to what we classify as normality or even move out of it again. We all have to take a step back... regather... refocus. Coming back into training after a unintentional break for me has been so difficult! I’ve noticed a hell of a lot more DOMS and a hell of a lot less motivation with no set dates for anything really... and I know I’m not the only one So I sit here thinking about what goals I had for 2020 whilst going through my photos and I have discovered a new motivation... I want to return to how I was just over 12 months. Whether that takes me another 12 months that’s fine! I’ve now reset and regathered my thoughts. My goals now have been and still can be adjusted to suit conditions that I can’t change. I wish that I could eliminate a world pandemic BUT I CAN’T. So I’ll work with what I’ve got!
