22.01.2022 I had a dream about these three last night!! And that can only mean one thing...... I’m back in the game!! Yes, in my dream my bride Michelle’s name was actually Kate .... but I kept calling her Tessa throughout the ceremony (this is referred to as a nightmare in celebrant world)... And yes sweet bridesmaid Bianca kept telling me to call the bride Kate because her name isn’t Tessa - (even though she is actually Michelle ) and she kept questioning who Kate was And yes, I forgot the signing pen (even though I pack 765 signing pens in my Mary Poppins bag of tricks...) ...... so this was definitely a nightmare by now! This coronacoaster clearly hasn’t affected me at all!! can anyone else relate? However dreaming about weddings once again means my days are starting to fill with writing, planning and organising upcoming November and December ceremonies And gee wiz I’ve missed them. 7 months without many wedding giggles is waaaaay too long. Yes my planner is currently dotted with teeny tiny celebrations, however they are just as exciting for me..... it’s a little warm up for a cracker of a season in 2021/22!! 12.01.2022 Samantha & Rafic A celebration planned for mid April...... in the year of the ‘Rona..... saw these two postponing to the 8 November with Plan C, D and E up their sleeves, and all fingers crossed they could be married in 2020 And married they were! It really was a treat to be invited to this one. S & R together with their parents and grandparents shared the most intimate micro-wedding at the beautiful @lindenderry yesterday and I loved every single minute.... When Rafic’s (nearly 90 year old!) Grandfather, Rafic Snr, embraced me (covid style of course !) at the end of the ceremony exclaiming that he had been looking forward to this special day all year and that it had exceeded all his expectations; my day (week, month and year!) was made Reminded me how much I adore (and how much I’ve missed!!) the absolute joy & privilege of celebrating love!
