19.01.2022 Thankyou !! Hi Everyone ! Just wanted to say a very big thankyou to all the Coaches, Managers, Parents and Supporters who worked within the NNSW and PDNA guidelines yesterday.... It was a picture perfect day, and was great to see a sea of Emmaus colours and smiling faces! Thank you again, it has made all the hard work worthwhile!! Looking forward to Week 2 !

15.01.2022 PDNA Wet Weather Policy By-Law - 25 WET WEATHER 25.1 Association Executive are to decide if the days or nights matches are to be played. ... 25.2 a) For Winter and Night Competitions, courtside decisions on wet weather will be made prior to the commencement of the first timeslot of NetSetGo, junior, and senior competitions. b) The only games classified wet weather are when a playing day or a complete junior, or senior grade is washed out before play commences. In these cases all games for that playing day or grade will be cancelled and teams will be awarded one point each. See ByLaw 25.6 for wet weather in Finals Series. c) When a whole grade is playing at the same time and the games are washed out after play has commenced: i) prior to half-time teams will be awarded one point each. ii) during or after half-time - score stands at the time the game was stopped. 25.3 Where grades are played in split timeslots, and some games have been completed, for any games in progress and abandoned (due to wet weather): a) prior to half time games will be replayed. b) during or after half time score will stand at the time the game was stopped. 25.4 Where any games are scheduled to be replayed due to wet weather, those games will be played on dates to be set by the Competitions Convenor. 25.5 Teams receiving wet weather points are recorded as playing. Copies of the full ByLaws are available from the PDNA website.

Coffee Van Lower Control Please check in when you arrive at the courts today and every Saturday ongoing. Remember if you are feeling unwell, are being tested for COVID, live with someone being tested, have been in one of the hotspots please do not come to the game today. This applies to player, supporters, Coaches, Umpires and Club Committee. You have done a fantastic job at abiding by the requirements and the Club Committee are grateful for your ongoing support. 09.01.2022 Hi Everyone ! We have made it to Week 1 of Season 2020!! Your coaches would have communicated a number of requirements for today to happen.... As a reminder: nails must be clipped arrive 15 mins before get in, play, get out - dont hang around 1 spectator per player sanitise please do not come if you, whether spectator or player have cold and flu like symptoms. As always, lets show respect to our Umpires today. Mistakes might be made, but lets remember some are young, some are first timers and many are nervous with new requirements. We are in this together, we may or may not like how today has had to be. But lets remember - this enables our girls, our ladies back on the court to play netball. Its good for physical health and great for mental health - and right now we need this as a Community. Thanks to everyone for your support and words of encouragement over recent weeks. 06.01.2022 Hi Everyone - If you follow the PDNA FB page, you may have already read this update on NNSW working with Dept of Health and Industry sporting bodies to enable our players to continue to play Club Netball. You would have already seen updates on State Championships and Rep Carnivals being cancelled for the 2020 Season.... It is great that we are able to continue to get our players on the court this week, and hopefully in the weeks to come. But we all know how things change from week to week. I am reaching out to you to again ask for your assistance to ensure we are abiding by the requirements put in place by Dept of Health and NNSW to ensure our players can continue and finish the 2020 season. I recognise that we remind you each week of the requirements whether by email, text from your Coaches or via our FB page. I also know you are probably sick of hearing from me/the Club about this. To be frank, I am starting to dread having to remind you of the requirements. But I have to. All Clubs have to. I have to because I remind myself that this is not about me, its not about the parents, its not about how hard this is. Its about enabling our juniors, seniors and ladies taking the court for their own mental and physical health. It is an hour a week where they can switch off from this crazy world and just enjoy a game of netball. So please, for our players and the longevity of the season: Dont come to the game/training if you are showing cold or flu like symptoms Dont come to the game/training if you or someone in your household is being tested for COVID19 Please use the QR codes at the courts to register your attendance (this is for tracing should we need to and is mandatory) Please arrive only 10 mins prior to your game, and leave 10 mins after your game finishes - Get in/Get out Only 1 spectator in the Pod - this is now not negotiable Please ensure you maintain 1.5m social distancing - this includes no team huddles. If a member of the Committee approaches you this week or the weeks ahead to ask you to comply, know they are asking because its about the longevity of our teams taking the court and completing the season.
