22.01.2022 It is with deep sadness that I will be closing the doors at the end of the month I have been putting this off for months. As my close friends know it isn’t something that i have chosen to do easily many a tear and sleepless night have been had as I have been here in the shop for almost my whole life with mum and dad and with nan & pop Cullen before that so I am the third generation. I have put it of for so long because I felt loyal to the people that supported me but it is... time to do what is best for me. My family and close friends have been so supportive of my decision and for that I thank them so much it is only now months later I can speak of my decision without breaking down. I am working over 40 hours a week now in glen working as a disability support worker a job in which I love a job I fell into but is so rewarding. I only hope that the new businesses in town learn the history of our little village and help to bring it back to the community it once was. I thank everyone who has supported me over the year and hope to see you around somewhere. If you ever need any local history please don’t hesitate to drop in I’m still for now only next door.
