21.01.2022 Would like to let our customers know that Emmaville Post Office is now stocking Jackson extension leads, power boards, and double adapters plus automatic night lights. Come in and have a look and while you are there have a look at other stock we carry. If there is something you would like and we don't have it we will endeavour to get it in for you.

21.01.2022 Hi Everyone. We wish to inform our customers that the Post Office will resume normal trading hours from 16th November. MONDAY - FRIDAY 9.00AM - 5.00PM CLOSING FOR LUNCH BETWEEN 1.00PM AND 2.00PM. We would like to thank our customers for their patience during the shortened opening hours. Also I would like to remind customers that there will be disruptions to services this Friday 6th November due to the NBN being installed in the Post Office. We are sorry if this causes any inconvenience to our customers. Last but not least, we would like to thank Haelie for the fantastic job she has done and continues to do in the Post Office while I have been off after my back surgery. Thanks Haelie!!!

20.01.2022 Hello everyone. It has been brought to my attention that a few people are not aware that they can do deposits as well as withdrawals at the Post Office. The only one of the 4 major banks that this can not be done with is ANZ. There are also a few of the smaller banks and credit unions that are not onboard with Australia Post. So instead of going to Glen Innes or Inverell to do your banking, if you have accounts with Commonwealth, Westpac, NAB, St George, Regional and a few others, you can do deposits as well as withdrawals with your bank card. We can also do deposits and withdrawal with a Commonwealth Pass Book account. If you have any queries please call in and I will see if I can help. Thank you Anna.

19.01.2022 Please everyone be aware of this scam.

19.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ON MONDAY 19TH OCTOBER BETWEEN 8.00AM AND 12.00PM THE NBN NETWORK WILL BE INSTALLED IN THE POST OFFICE. UNFORTUNATELY THIS WILL MEAN THAT THE POWER COULD BE TURNED OFF FOR UP TWO AND A HALF HOURS. THE POST OFFICE WILL REMAIN OPEN DURING OUR NORMAL TRADING HOURS (9.00AM 1.00PM) FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAIL DELIVERIES AND PICKUPS BUT TRANSACTIONS LIKE BILL PAYING AND BANKING AND ANYTHING THAT REQUIRES THE USE OF THE TERMINAL WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL ...THE POWER IS RESTORED. WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY CAUSE BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT IS OUT OF OUR HANDS.

19.01.2022 Last month my sister in law died to the beastly MND (Motor Neurone Disease). There is no cure for this disease and much needed funds are needed to find a cure. I have a donation box in the Post Office and if anyone would like to put in their loose change to help raise funds it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

18.01.2022 Emmaville Post Office will be closed tomorrow until further notice due to advice from the RFS to evacuate because of the bushfires expecting to reach Emmaville tomorrow. Stay safe everyone.

18.01.2022 Emmaville Post Office would like to advise that it will be closed today and tomorrow due to the terminal being down because of no internet service. We have been advised that the internet won’t be operational again until COB (7.00pm)tomorrow. There will also be no mail deliveries today due to the Highway still being closed between Moonbi and Bendermeer. If customers would like to pick up existing parcels or mail, you can ring me on 0411887267 and I will be able to give them to you. We apologise for the inconvenience.

16.01.2022 Hi all. Just letting you know that we have the Cop Cam and the One Power Readers in stock at the moment. The readers are selling fast and I am getting great feedback about them.

15.01.2022 We have been receiving quite a few queries on our personal messenger page about whether parcels have been received or are sitting in the Post Office. Could I please ask customers that if you have any queries regarding Postal matters that you contact the Post Office during office hours (at this stage temporarily, 9.00am - 1.00pm). Any parcels that are scanned arriving at Post Office for delivery by contractors are passed onto contractors.

14.01.2022 Hi Everyone. I hope you are all staying safe and well. Charlie has managed to get some toilet paper online. They are jumbo rolls and each roll is equal to about 10 normal rolls. We are putting a couple of these rolls up for sale in the Post Office for anyone who is having trouble buying rolls in the supermarkets. They are $15 a roll.

12.01.2022 Please be aware everyone.

12.01.2022 If in doubt ask at your local post office or phone Australia Post Customer Services. Unfortunately they seem to be getting more realistic with their scams.

07.01.2022 Update on the Mount Spirabo fire (Tenterfield LGA) Starting on 11 December by a dry lightning storm that passed through Inverell and Tenterfield, this fire is a...pproximately 20,000 hectares with a perimeter of 143 km. While crews were working on blacking out active edges and water-bombing aircraft targeting hot spots, new lightning strike ignitions were detected within the broad containment lines of the Mount Spirabo fire. There will be a significant increase of smoke over the Bolivia, Stannum, Pyes Creek, Emmaville and possibly Deepwater areas over the weekend. This is due to strong easterly winds blowing over the fire ground as the fire fills into heavily timbered Morven Creek in the Spirabo State Forest. Over the past 48 hours, fire crews have responded to 9 new lightning strike ignitions. There is NO increased threat to neighbouring properties. But as always, we ask that all land holders and residents stay aware of local conditions and be ready to act should a new fire threaten your property. 03.01.2022 Good afternoon As of today (Wednesday, 8 April 2020), NSW has recorded 2,734 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In the Northern Tablelands, we now have eight confirmed cases, with the latest diagnosed in Armidale yesterday. This is by far the most concerning case to date, because authorities do not yet know the source of transmission. The patient has been released from hospital and is now self-isolating. The tally of confirmed cases, as it stands today, is two at Armidale, one fro...m an unknown source the other a community to community transmission, two at Emmaville and three at Inverell, all contracted on cruise ships or overseas and one in Uralla Shire contracted overseas. In positive news, from next week we should start seeing the first of our local cases move from the confirmed COVID-19 category to the recovered category. Before they are deemed as recovered, all patients will be tested again and if the test results are negative they will be able to end their isolation. I urge everybody to show these people respect as they re-enter the community. They have all done the right thing and self-isolated during their illness and now need friendship and support as they get on with their lives, not hate and personal attacks on social media.
