18.01.2022 Emma and Emmaville Charisma 9 years ago at Canberra Royal. Wonderful memories.

18.01.2022 Good morning from Gundagai Show

17.01.2022 Our two Isle of Merlin foals are nearly 6 months old. Millie and Milo have just been weaned. Millie is out of Cosmo whose mother is Emmaville Charisma. Milo is out of Delle who is by Emmaville Darius (Daley K). Gordon, Grant's dad, has done a wonderful job handling these two foals - teaching them to lead, tie up and be hosed off. Gordon is a wonderful horseman and it's great to see he still has the touch at age 85. It's also great to see the wonderful temperament the Isle of Merlin foals have. The last two pictures are of the foals 6 months ago on their birth days.

16.01.2022 Good morning from the Emmaville Performance Horses Christmas Showjumping Competition! Both rings are underway and we are looking forward to a fun day of jumping! 12.01.2022 It was a lovely weekend for the ACT Showjumping Cup. We were very pleased with our horses performances. Emmaville Blue Diamond stepped up to his first grand prix class and seemed to do this with ease. Thank you to the ACT Showjumping Club's committee and volunteers for a well run show. We thought the courses in ring one built by Mark Atkins were excellent. Thank you to our wonderful staff and helpers who assist us prior to, and on the day with our horses.

11.01.2022 Check out the January issue of Horse Deals Magazine for an article written by Grant Hughes on "Improving your Eye for a Distance"

11.01.2022 Gundagai Show once again ran a wonderful show. Thank you to Jim Scobie and his wonderful team for running 3 terrific days of jumping. We are so happy with how our horses jumped. This is thanks to our excellent team behind the scenes prior to and at the show for assisting us with the care and preparation of our lovely horses.

06.01.2022 Emmaville Performance Horses would like to thank our wonderful sponsors Barastoc Horse and Horseland Canberra for their ongoing support and sponsorship. We highly recommend the products and customer service from both businesses. We find the Barastoc feed excellent to keep our competition horses, school horses and young horses in peak condition. Horseland Canberra provide the gear we need to compete and run our business, including the lovely saddle cloths and bonnets pictured.

04.01.2022 Forbes March Showjumping event was one of the most friendly, enjoyable and well run shows we have attended for a while. The committee is only a small one but they worked together to produce an excellent show. The footing was perfect and Tim Dansey's courses produced some wonderful jumping. It was lovely to catch up with some old friends over the weekend. It was also lovely to see the success of many of our horses and students. The grand prix was a hotly contested event wi...th a testing course. All horses jumped well in the first round with 4 clear rounds. The second round saw 3 of the first round clears jump clear again against the clock. Lane Clarke rode a blistering round on VL Vanna to win the event. Grant and Emmaville Blue Diamond was second with a double clear, Sarah Dreverman and Emmaville Van Gogh was third, also with a double clear and Charlie Eason the defending champion coming in 4th place with Oaks Coolangatta . Grant and Emmaville Twist was equal 5th with Jennifer Wood and Cocaine Ego Z. Looking forward Forbes' next event. Thank you as always to our wonderful support crew at home and at the show for your assistance with the preparation and care of our beautiful horses. Thank you to our sponsors Horseland Canberra and Barastoc Horse for your continued support. See more

03.01.2022 Thanks to Govern Equine Images for joining us today - we absolutely love your photos!

02.01.2022 Finally posting some pictures of our beautiful stallion, Isle of Merlin. Merlin is by Belcam El Carrera out of Isle of Monet. Merlin's progeny are wonderfully quiet and we are looking forward to working with them as they mature.
