11.01.2022 . @forrestyoga Challenge Day 9 Turbo Dog I really enjoy this pose I’m so supported with the close stance actively pushing both ends to meet in the middle with my stomach resting on my thighs as it really reminds me to breath as well as into my belly to press against them.... Almost a recovery position as it doesn’t put strain on my trouble areas & switching my neck off to boot. Two completely different sides of the exact same I think there is a misconception when it comes to fighters that we are in fight mode all the time that what we portray while competing is us 24/7 especially the stereotypes ! ... But that’s just one side..... If you meet me inside the cage well it’s business in there and there won’t be any love shared until the fights is over. However on the other side .... Truth is If you met me outside the cage you wouldn’t THINK that I was a fighter at all you’d see my more softer friendly and funnier side. We switch on & off when it’s called for Its almost like a Dr Jerkyll & Mr Hyde type Situation we can’t be on all the So getting in a session @sydneyhotyoga this morning was the perfect way to balance and merge my chi from my Ying & Yang sides ! Run by the Amazing Alana ! (@dakinitempledancer ) It was just me so it was a perfect introduction for my 1st time ! My body has come through for me so I’m coming though for it ! So over this holiday period as things slow down it’s definitely the right time to give the body that well deserved rest and recovery in order to be able to hit the ground running and kick ass when the new year begins !
