24.01.2022 You can’t control everything, so just try and control what you can. . The one I recommend first is making your HOME a safe haven and keep it as clean as you can by ditching the toxins. . Every little bit counts, and it adds up quickly for your health and your body and mind will thank you for it ... . your cleaning products your personal care products your beauty products your medicine cabinet your food and drinks air quality EMFs . Like if you agree and like the sound of a safe haven See more
24.01.2022 Here’s to school holidays . Breathe deeply, and know you will treasure these memories forever (eventhough a steady amount of chaos was also included...thank you Stress Away ) . A little flashback from our adventure to Melbourne last year, our win was getting our little guy to put a jumper and long pants on when it was super cold outside ... . Then when it came into summer he didn’t want to take off the long pants and jumpers...anyone else??! See more
21.01.2022 Fermented Fire Cider . A perfect blend of immune boosting ingredients to support you during these last few months of cooler weather. . Lots of different recipes out there, but here’s the basics I go for:... . Fresh lemon Onion Garlic Turmeric (I used organic powder as didn’t have any fresh) Ginger (I used some essential oil as didn’t have any fresh) Cayenne pepper/chilli A little of the previous batch of fire cider or some kombucha vinegar . Combine and let it ferment for 1-2 weeks, then bottle and fridge and have a teaspoon when you need some extra See more
21.01.2022 Netti pot! Another great self-care tool to keep your sinuses operating at their best . Just add some good quality salt to some warm water and pop it through each nostril until it flows out the other one. There’s a trick to the head tilt - slightly forward and to the side, keep moving and you’ll know when you find it . It’s like getting dumped by a huge wave at the beach, minus the sand burn ... . Sometimes I like to spike mine with some mild essential oils like Lavender or Cedarwood too, plants have such incredible properties that really compliment this process . Don’t have a Netti pot? I must admit it’s definitely the easier way, but I used to do this with a water bottle that had a little pump top, or even just sniffing the water out of the palms of your hands will give you a good little flush . And the most important part of this, all without any NASTY chemicals. Winning. . Enjoy! See more
20.01.2022 Birthday snack preparations are beginning . Mia’s favourite choc peppermint bliss balls, and I even had a little helper (and the floor isn’t covered in desiccated coconut ) . Where have these 8 years gone!!
18.01.2022 When you pick up your 4 year old to put them onto a kayak... . Time to get a little more robust @stretchtherapysessions
18.01.2022 And that’s a wrap - my little girl turned 8 . I’m sure all the parents of 8 year olds can relate to this in finding it unbelievable how quickly these 8 years have gone! . Many laughs, many tears...I’m sure there’s many of both of these to come ... . This year Mia wanted a turtle cake, this was actually the same cake I made for her 1st birthday party so there was a bit of pressure for this one as she will probably remember this one . I found a coconut flour based chocolate cake recipe and made avocado chocolate-orange mousse , and then just sliced bananas and sprinkled desiccated coconut on top . It’s always fun to find whole and natural ingredients to decorate a cake, it’s amazing what you can do with different nuts or how they’re chopped to create different textures etc, or using fruit, shaved coconut flakes or dried fruit! I made an owl another year that I’m still surprised at how well it turned out . What’s been your most impressive self-made birthday cake?? See more
17.01.2022 Already a month since you turned 8 . She requested I make a turtle cake again like I did for her 1st birthday as obviously can’t remember it! . So again I made a grain/gluten/dairy free chocolate birthday cake, complete with choc orange avocado icing, and sliced banana with desiccated coconut sprinkled on top. ... . So simple, and happy tummies all around! See more
14.01.2022 I always welcome some extra Brain Power A great oil to use when you need some extra focus, or for kids that either need some balance and calming or focus for exams. . This blend has sandalwood, cedarwood, frankincense, Melissa, blue cypress, lavender and helichrysum - no wonder it packs a punch! . Anything you can smell goes straight through to your emotional centre of the brain through your olfactory system (and potentially disrupts your hormonal system) - so it’s REALLY... important that you limit the amount of synthetic chemicals that you’re exposed to. . Using essential oils are just one of the ways we lower our family’s exposure to toxins (most of us can’t control everything around us so we do what we can ). . If you’re curious about how to use these then reach out for a chat! And to say thank you to anyone that’s then ready to try them out in one of the starting packs you’ll get an extra gift from me that includes a couple of custom oil roller blend (tailored to your needs), in addition to resources and an invite to join our online tribe so you’ll know EXACTLY how to use these in daily life and get the incredible benefits See more
13.01.2022 My favourite snack when eating out! . It used to be hard finding snacks when you don’t eat gluten or dairy, but most places now seem to have Acai bowls! . And if you’re lucky - some do a Nutella (aka notella!) version where they add cacao and hazelnuts to the Acai blend. Without the transfats though ... . What’s your go to, relatively healthy snack when you’re out?? See more

09.01.2022 The dynamic trio if you’ve got kids . Lavender - calming an soothing for both the body and mind . Purification - a blend with citronella, lemongrass and melaleuca (tea tree). Take with you anywhere you go with kids, especially outdoors and bush walks!... . Melrose - a blend with melaleuca and rosemary, same uses as Purification and also love popping a drop on the kids’ heads before school . All these are also amazing additions to do some deep cleaning, so love adding these to my Thieves surface cleaner (less than $1 for 500ml!), handwash and also in my daily face serum! . Don’t you just love their versatility?! Bet you can’t name a commercial cleaner that you’d also put onto your face . Link in bio for more info about the versatility of oils and to order, a great transition to get rid of any chemicals around the home and support you and your family naturally See more

06.01.2022 Easy oil-infused epsom salt bath blend & bathroom air freshener . This is such a great way to use every last drop of your precision essential oils! Take off the dripolator and pop them into a jar of epsom salt to absorb the rest of the oil . Just grab a handful of epsom salt ready for bath time and enjoy the benefits, not only of the scents but the effects on the body and that there’s no nasty toxins in there that will be absorbed into the body.... . I’d recommend using a bigger jar than I did in this photo so you can stir them around, but it does the job for now. . It also makes the bathroom SMELL amazing, so you get an added benefit of having this in the bathroom! . If you’ve got little ones, just use the more gentle oils in here and not the hot oils like those found in the Thieves or PanAway blends. See more
06.01.2022 Why create your own perfume using pure essential oils? . Did you know the average fragrance product tested contained 14 secret chemicals not listed on the label? . Among them are chemicals associated with hormone disruption and allergic reactions, and many substances that have not been assessed for safety in personal care products.... . Yikes! . The great news is that you don’t have to avoid wearing perfume! In this upcoming workshop in Noosa Lipstick Lane this Sunday 16 August 2-4pm. . We’ll go through an introduction of fragrance notes and appropriate dilution guidelines so you can make your personal scent (and take it home!), without any hidden chemicals! . Link in bio for bookings See more
05.01.2022 Friday night = homemade pizza night! . One of my fave meals I missed when cutting out grains was my beloved pizza! There was a few variations I tried - like cauliflower/mozzarella but these needed pre cooking...I didn’t have the patience for that . This one is super easy with only these ingredients, and you just roll it out nice and then and it holds its crust!... . Tapioca Coconut flour Olive oil Water Egg (could use flax/chia egg) Salt . Then let your creative talents go for the toppings! The kiddos love the garlic, cheese and Italian herb variation. Sooo good! . If you want the recipe let me know and I’ll get it up on my website! See more
05.01.2022 My hubby is loving my latest batch of DIY hair shaping clay! . And you know me, I’ve inspected a bunch of pre-made products and so much stuff in there that really shouldn’t go anywhere ON your body...yes even on your hair! . So after a few attempts I seem to have found a combo he likes (and so far suiting summer and the cooking temps here in Australia), and apart from cleanup it’s so easy to make! This is why I usually make 2-4 times the amount so I only clean up once.... . 3 simple ingredients, with your choice of added essential oils to scent it! . beeswax coconut oil bentonite clay . I’ll pop the recipe up on my website later this week . Happy low-toxin creating!! See more
05.01.2022 Family adventures . Barefoot when we can along the most picturesque coastline heading towards Noosa. . Movement, fresh air, vitamin D and grounding (and a view ... B) all included - and all contributing to a healthy and strong immune system See more
04.01.2022 I had a creative streak and created these last night . Brown coconut beads Various coloured crystal beads Black lava beads (on the back of the bracelet - perfect to drop your face essential oil onto)... Leaf accessory . I find it so meditative to sit and create...meditation doesn’t need to look like total silence, just finding moments throughout the day to be mindful will give you more energy than you think. . For those of you with a busy mind, maybe think about a fun practice like this and then gentle try some other forms of sitting/guided meditations . Have a weird or funny meditative practice - share it here! See more
04.01.2022 If we can’t go out barefoot, then we do the next best thing and put on our barefoot shoes! . Barefoot shoes give your feet the space they need and strengthen up those arches. Think about the if you don’t use it you lose it idea for muscles, the same applies for your arches! . For years I wore shoes with lots of arch support, then I slowly transitioned to barefoot shoes and I’ve never looked back.... . Why haven’t I looked back? As soon as I pop on a shoe with even a tiny heel (this includes guy shoes too!) then my back aches as I try to compensate for being tipped forwards. . And for the ladies it means we stick our our tummies without realising and this weakens our abdominal muscles...then this may contribute to ab separation if we get pregnant like it did for me! . I have also not twisted my ankle in years as your feet have so much more contact with the ground . How many people do you know how lower back pain? . Might be worth a try! . Here’s our fave barefoot shoes: @merrell @vivobarefoot @eruncoach (Splay brand) See more
03.01.2022 As our youngest has started pre-prep/kindy a completely child-free sliver of time has appeared!! . And it feel so strange, for the first time since becoming a mum, this has been the first time that I have time to myself during the day... . And wow it feels weird! It feels like I’ve forgotten something, it’s so quick to get around, it’s so so quiet. ... . And I’m wondering for quite a bit of that time what the kiddos are doing . And both overwhelming and exciting part of this being - I now have some time to think about what I want my health coaching business to look like! See more
01.01.2022 Everything has a vibrational frequency, including ourselves. . The simplest example to explain this for me is when I listen to particular music (especially live music) and I get physical goosebumps or a wave of emotions. Another example is when I burst into tears when someone used a tuning fork...it was instant and unexpected! . It is said that sound healing can be traced back 40,000 years to when indigenous Australians used ancient didgeridoos for healing.... . Each instrument serves a different purpose. Crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, tuning forks and drums are said to help release tension in the body and stimulates the glandular and nervous system. . This is a pic of my lovely friend @kristinscherdin doing a Tibetan bowl sound healing on me. What I particularly love about these is that they can be placed ONTO the body too so you get a full auditory and physical experience...it’s really quite magical! See more
