25.01.2022 The nicest thing about advertising Agistment has been all the amazing and heartfelt recommendations that popped up in the comments! I’ve been riding the warm and fuzzy buzz ever since!!! Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to recommend Emmerson Park!! I couldn’t be more appreciative of all the wonderful people and horses who have entered our lives through this venture!! Sorry if I’ve missed some contributions in this post, I saw them all but just quickly snappes some screen shots from the replies on the Northside ad!

23.01.2022 Despite the drought our paddocks are flourishing!! Here’s a closer look at some of the abundant feed our spellers enjoy.

23.01.2022 Getting back to introducing the paddocks, this is our beautiful Pemberley, so named for its glorious view over the dam towards the house. It’s midway through a revamp and rest at the moment. It’s been sprayed and rested and slashed and now it’s having some more rest and will get a dash of lime to bring out its best before over seeding next year. This paddock is one of our part board paddocks due to its proximity to the house and boasts 5 acres of delicious grass, the per...fect dam for summertime splashes and a broad tape yard. This one is rarely available and not available at this time. Can’t wait to show off it’s lush growth in the spring!

21.01.2022 2018 was a big year for us here at Emmerson Park! We officially opened our gates to the public and welcomed a whole herd worth of new friends, clients and of course their wonderful ponies onto our property and into the Emmerson Park family!! We also became a family of three bringing this little dude into the world!!! We’ve had an amazing time and loved every minute!!! Can’t wait for 2019 to be bigger and better than ever!! Just for starters we’ll be opening up some new spel...ling Agistment opportunities and there will even be a new full care Agistment space opening up in early 2019! We’ve been kept full since that first advert so don’t hesitate to book your spot in our luxurious spelling paddocks before they fill up! Long and short stays welcome

20.01.2022 For Agistee’s needing somewhere to store their float we have plenty of room for float or truck parking. There’s easy access and plenty of space so there’s no need to reverse. Another service we can offer is float and horse truck repairs. Everything from electric brake installation through to major structural work like tail gate replacement. Mark prioritises safety for the horse when designing and has an excellent understanding of the needs of both horses and riders when it comes to transport. Mark is a qualified mechanic with years of fabrication experience so if your tow car or float needs something repaired or added to it we offer competitive pricing and unbeatable workmanship.

19.01.2022 Dawn over be arena worth the early rise

18.01.2022 Emmerson Park was lucky enough to have experienced Agronomist, Martin Mead, visit us to assess our paddocks post drought and give some advise on pasture quality and the best way to improve it. Happy to say our spelling paddocks got a five star rating with the option to improve to ‘fodder factory’ level but the reassurance that our management as it is is and the quality of the paddocks are perfect for providing abundant feed for the amount of horses we cater to. Over the ne...xt few years we will be improving the part board paddocks up near the house so they can become even more productive and resilient against future droughts. Currently our part board paddocks are full but there are still a few spaces available for spelling/retirement if anyone is looking for a higher level of care for their spellers/retirees. I can be reached on 0422476232 or through messenger For Hunter Valley Locals looking for the services of an experienced agronomist I thoroughly recommend Martin, he can be reached through Farmland Co (Formally Farmers Warehouse) or on 0487707005

16.01.2022 The fields aren’t a technicolor green anymore but there’s still mountains of feed! This is one of my own retirees, a 21 yr old thoroughbred although you wouldn’t know it to look at her!! She is the mother to my wonderful perfect golden girl, my competition horse and is now living a life of leisure in our group spelling paddocks. The busy season is for holiday makers is over so now is the perfect time to nab a space especially if you have an old timer that you’d love to live... out their days on grass with a quiet friend or two. Short term holiday stays are always welcome too of course!!! Spelling in our pasture fed group paddocks is $75. All horses are checked daily by a knowledgeable horse person and there are always cuddles, and scratches available!!!! Owners receive regular photos and updates so you will always be kept up to date and can still feel close to your horsey friend. Packages can be changed at any time if a horse’s condition or needs change. Visitors always welcomed. Call 0422476232 or message on Facebook to book your spot today! See more

15.01.2022 The ponies got extra cuddles and most importantly (to them anyway) carrots for their big day!!!!! Extra carrots went to the two geriatrics, kings of the property, Emmy and Sinbad who today turned 31!!! They still have enough teeth to crunch carrots and the occasional apple and are definitely the fattest on the property!!

14.01.2022 Thanks to the recent storms and keeping our numbers down over the dry spell our paddocks are flourishing!!!! There are now spaces available in both our group and private paddocks!! If you want your retiree to live like royalty send them our way for some well deserved pampering while they wallow in the knee high grass.... If you haven’t been out here before, we’re at lower Belford, it is an easy 2hr drive from Sydney, straight up the freeways and right on the doorstep of the wine country so you can unwind before heading home. Our spelling paddocks are huge and they’re kept this lush year round through strictly limited numbers of horses, rotation and regular paddock improvements. There is natural shelter from trees, automatic waterers which are cleaned regularly and horse safe fencing. Horses are checked daily by experienced and caring horse people and regular updates with photos are sent to owners. At Emmerson Park we specialise in giving prized furry family members the retirement they deserve as well as spoiling competition horses during their down time. This availability doesn’t come up very often so jump on board to reserve your spot and avoid disappointment. Short or long term stays available and packages can be tailored to your horses needs. Contact Niki via messenger or on 0422476232

14.01.2022 Rare opportunity for your unicorn to join our long term spellers in our luscious spelling paddocks. Very rarely do we have space available as we keep our numbers down to ensure thick luscious feed year round. The small numbers also allows for small cohesive herds with plenty of attention even in their retirement. ... At Emmerson Park retirement doesn’t mean abandonment to the elements in a big paddock. All our residents receive continued care with farrier, dentistry, worming and of course regular cuddles and treats! You will also receive regular photo updates so you won’t miss a thing in your unicorns life! Long term preferred but we also have spaces for short term or holiday visitors. Horse transport services are considered an essential service and are still running so even with the lockdown we can accept delivery of your retiree. I can be reached either through the messages on the page or on 0422476232 if you’d like your horse to join our pampered residents.

13.01.2022 Finally, a logo for Emmerson Park! What do you think?

12.01.2022 Resharing this for all our new likers who may not know much about us. Hello and welcome to our page. Since sharing this post two years ago we’ve expanded the Made by Mark fabricating side of things and will be making a huge announcement in the next few weeks. We’ve also brought a horse mad human into the world and even at two he seems to share our love of all things animals and fixing and building things. For my part my horse focus has shifted from dressage and competing to liberty and tricks. Not much has changed for our retirees and spellers, they’re still loving life getting spoilt rotten with carrots and cuddles and love and enjoying the mountains of grass our paddocks have to offer.

12.01.2022 My little man loves cuddling horses as much as I do!!!! Plenty of snuggles to go around! Sally the lucky recipient of all this love is the dam of my riding horse Angel. A very special lady.

11.01.2022 Continuing on with the introduction of paddock names, next one is Lallybroch. This is one of our most exclusive paddocks with three permanent residents. The grass is so long and thick in this 15 acre paddock that the smallest and newest member of Lallybroch’s herd is often hidden completely by the lush grass! Lallybroch got its name because it was originally intended to be the site of our main house with the existing house as a secondary home for my Mum. However like Jamie... Fraser of the Outlander books the government or in our case the council just keeps getting in the way of us living where we want. Two of the ponies that call Lallybroch home are our oldest residents. Two perfectly mischievous 33 year olds who are not as innocent as their sweet little faces will have you believe. Serial escape artists and mischief makers, in their spare time they enjoy opening gates, breaking into feed or hay sheds, and turning sprinklers on. I’ve included photos of the view in either direction from what was meant to be the house site.

11.01.2022 Thanks to all the beautiful rain we’ve had the grass is so good you could lose a baby in it!!!

10.01.2022 Room with a view. Mountain views in either direction from the our two bottom spelling paddocks. These photos were taken in opposite directions from the midpoint of the dividing fence between the two paddocks. The central fence is undergoing a makeover to ensure these paddocks are even safer for future horses. ... We’re always working to improve the property to make it as safe and luxurious as possible for every horse.

09.01.2022 Space available at Emmerson Park. If anyone has a horse ready for a break or retirement but doesn’t want their heart horse abandoned in a paddock then Emmerson Park is the Agistment for you. All of our residents are loved as if they were our own with cuddles, treats and pamper sessions a regular occurrence. All services available from barefoot trimming to corrective shoeing, dentistry, worming and any other therapy a horse could wish for. ... 09.01.2022 Our paddocks are in the process of being named with a literary theme. I’ve the next little while I’ll share a photo of each paddock with the name and a little bit about them. First up is Rohan, a name that will be familiar to Lord of the Rings fans as the land of the horse lords and homeland of Gandalf’s horse Shadowfax. This paddock was named to honour a beautiful pair of horses who we had the pleasure of knowing in the later years of their life before they crossed the r...ainbow bridge. Their mum is a big LOTR fan so it felt only fitting when we were naming paddocks to dedicate one to their memory. Rohan is 15.3 acres (6.195 hectares) of horsey heaven with a good mix of open rolling grass with some lightly wooded areas for shade and shelter. There’s views to the dramatic cliffs of the Watagans in one direction and Rohan is also bordered by the fenced off Jump Up Creek. A broad tape yard provides a safe spot to isolate while feet are being done or to recover from sedation after teeth have been done. Often visited by the shy grey kangaroo population of Lower Belford. It shares borders with two of our big retirement paddocks Lallybroch and Kelsingra,. if the residents of Rohan choose to socialise over the fence it’s from a safe distance with electric standoffs and with likeminded sensible retirees.

08.01.2022 Residents of our spelling paddocks get a huge 15 acres to roam, perfect for keeping older joints in good health. To ensure maximum feed year round paddocks are rotated regularly and numbers are strictly limited to a maximum of 4 horses to a 15 acre paddock. At Emmerson Park we treat every horse as if they were our own. All horses are spoilt with treats and cuddles and photos and anecdotes of their latest adventures are regularly sent home to owners so you will still feel ...a part of their lives and can monitor their condition as they transition to retirement or holiday. All services including farrier, dentistry, vet, osteo etc available. Everything from spelling to full care available. Long and short term residents welcomed. Visitors always welcomed. Riding facilities available to use for ea members. Contact Niki through messenger or on 0422476232 to discuss Agistment options.

07.01.2022 Emmerson Park is a boutique Agistment property nestled in the Hunter Valley's picturesque wine country specialising in spelling Agistment. During their stay clients horses are treated like part of the family, with daily checks, and regular cuddles, grooming and pats. Owners are sent regular photo updates of their furry family members during their retirement or holiday enabling them to still feel connected. 06.01.2022 This is one of our beautiful spelling paddocks going into winter! How good is the grass still! There’s room for one more pony in this paddock and two next door in the same quality and size paddock. If you want your retiree to live like royalty and eat grass like this year round give me a call on 0422476232 or send a message through the page. All residents receive full care with worming, trimming, dentistry, cuddles and treats, you name it and it can be arranged. ... In addition to this you will be kept updated with your horses condition and adventures through regular photos so you can see them living their best life out in the country.
