21.01.2022 The lovely Ed had some great releases during his #Emmett #Therapy session today! #Anembo

21.01.2022 We are so grateful that things are starting to return to the 'new normal' and that horse activities are starting up again - YAY! The silver lining during lockdown was spending lots of time via zoom conferencing on professional development - complete with horses! Lots of fun and great to refresh, build knowledge and network with other practitioners from all over Australia and NZ. This competition season is going to be very short and you don't want to miss out! Take the opportu...nity to make sure your horses are performing at their best - it may be some preventative bodywork maintenance or you may have a problem that should be addressed. Send me a PM or text for more information or to book a session. I'm a long term local, I'm fully insured and accredited and my fees are $70 per horse per session (including reasonable travel)

20.01.2022 Anembo Limited Edition at 9.5 weeks old. What a quality little bloke - check out that bone! 'Eddie' is by our stallion Mt Weld Resilience and out of Gardens mare Willing Noble Rivergum. #Waler #walerhorse #AnemboWalers

15.01.2022 Please be informed on correct saddle fit. An incorrectly fitting saddle will undo everything your Bodyworker does to help and improve your horse! #AnemboEquestrian #EmmettTherapy #Practitioner

15.01.2022 Never a truer word said! #AnemboEquestrian #EmmettTherapy

11.01.2022 Anembo Walers are delighted to announce that our stallion Mt Weld Resilience (Mt Weld) and Willing Noble Rivergum (The Gardens) became the proud parents at around 5.30am today, of a beautiful colt foal - Anembo Limited Edition (pending). So exciting! With Andrea Finn

04.01.2022 Thanks Rachael for asking me to work on the lovely Cognac. So good to help him get back to performing ar his best - and with my eyes closed too! #Anembo #EmmettTherapy

01.01.2022 Is the Racing Industry responsible for the barbarism and animal torture we saw on our TV screens the other night? No. I'm not saying that the Racing Industry is perfect and there are definitely areas they need to address (and relevant to this story is over breeding and disposal of horses.) But, the people responsible for this barbarism and animal torture are the people who work at and run the abattoirs where the atrocities took place! They should be prosecuted to the full ext...ent of the law for extreme animal cruelty (let's hope the laws are tough!) Where/who are the slaughter industry regulators? Who is responsible for monitoring abattoir policies and procedures? What safe guards/compliance checks are in place to prevent this atrocious (to any animal) behaviour? I'd also have to ask why the film makers sat on this footage for 2 years before taking action? Does that make them complicit by their inaction? Saying that, equine well being is a whole of industry issue - not just an issue for the TB Industry. Yes, TB's are most likely the most common breed in Australia and yes, their is a prize pool of money that could possibly be diverted into action plans etc but there are many, many horses who are subjected to the same conditions as the featured TB's (and including a few SB's) Animal activists are coming for the entire Equine Industry. We must stamp out all cruel treatment of equines - not just the dreadful abattoir scenes filmed. We need to stamp out excessive whip use, rollkur, over tight nose bands, harsh bit use, excessive and irresponsible breeding, starvation, neglect... the list goes on. We must stop these practices or the activists will have a field day with trying to outlaw riding and driving of horses, Let's also stop and think that there are worse things than a HUMANE death. Think it's kinder to let a horse starve to death than send it to the doggers? We are in the grip of one of Australia's worst ever droughts - we are running out of stock feed - HUMANE euthanasia is a viable and sensible option. Is it ok for your beloved cat or dog to eat horse meat? Of course it is. It is no different to them eating beef or lamb. Please remember that in Europe horses are actively bred for human consumption - not just for their pets! Most horse owners, treat their animals with kindness, responsibility and care. Let's work together to make it all horse owners, not just most who the right thing (and let's start with those abattoir workers!)
