20.01.2022 Heals: Therapy based on Love Yildiz Sethi What is it that people most require for wellness? If we accept the basic requirements for survival as essential, I believe that acceptance and love for yourself and others, resulting in healthy self-esteem, relationships and the ability to find comfort and enjoyment in your quiet spaces with a good connection to purpose, are also good indications of what is required. There is no doubt that if we all had these, the world would be a ver...y different place. It seems that many problems, insecurities, neediness, difficulties in forming relationships and common issues of depression and anxiety are frequently difficult to resolve for yourself. It’s really helpful to find someone with the knowledge, skills and personal development who can hold space for you in a non-judgemental way, as you explore, unravel and put something together in a better way, is of great value. Having said that when looking at what is available in the psychology, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy and counselling forum there are a wide variety of approaches available that can feel daunting. 19.01.2022 Telling the story saves others. When something bad happens, it is natural to want to warn others, so that they can avoid it. This is a good intention. It is definitely helpful to let people know some practical advise, to protect their drinks from being spiked, avoid certain dating procedures or apps or potentially dangerous situations. Some may listen, but a lot wont. They are driven by their need to socialise, find romance, do what everyone else, is doing and not miss out... on being young and silly. Most of all, most of us think it wont happen to me. Once you have done your duty in trying to warn others as best you can, its best to start focusing on yourself and the process of self-healing. While you are focusing on others you are neglecting this vital next step. One of the things that the family of sexual abuse survivors report is how obsessed the victim can become on trying to save others, while their own relationships fall by the wayside. The obsession is very likely to be the result of the trauma they hold. There is help to be found see New Dawn Recovery From Sexual Abuse See more

18.01.2022 Telling the world about how terrible the sexual abuse was, helps with healing While its true that you may gain some relief initially in telling others what happened to you and also expose you deep emotional wounds, this is not the answer to real self-healing.There are several level of healing that need to take place. Telling the story is good as a first step. Reporting may also be of help especially if it is received by the authorities seriously. All of this is validating an...d confirming that something bad happened and that people are empathetic and have some idea of your history and what youve been through. If you are physically damaged you have to heal. Many people go further, in making a career out of their abuse. A constant revisiting of the situation will keep the neural pathways of it active by keeping it charged and alive. This is not helpful for recovery. Now we need to look at your mind, heart and body. These hold the trauma and the true cost of what happened to you. While you have a story, this is only the entre. The raw details are repressed in the unconscious mind as you have a terrorised or interrupted fight and flight response that is probably frozen inside and stored in the mind, body and heart. This includes fear and terror, humiliation and often shame and guilt. Each of these need to be processed quickly and effectively without re-traumatisation.See New Dawn Recovery From Sexual Abuse. 0412172300https://buff.ly/2VmG7re See more

17.01.2022 Some Misconceptions of Sexual Abuse. You cant recover The best you can do is become a survivor It ruins your ability to engage in good relationships... Telling the story helps with the symptoms Telling the world about how terrible it is helps with the symptoms Trauma damages you forever Sexual abuse means you can never really enjoy sex again You will be constantly triggered Mental health problems result from sexual abuse You will never be able to have meaningful sexual relationships You never be able to regain your trust in relationships Becoming an advocate for the abused or for raising awareness, while worthy may have a big downside for your ultimate healing and wellbeing. It is necessary to talk about it Meeting others who have been abused for support helps you to heal. Unpacking what happened with friends or therapist is therapeutic Trauma is a life sentence I will write about each of the in turn over the next few weeks. Stay tunes https://buff.ly/2ReZm2o

16.01.2022 2,The best you can do is become a survivor. Being a victim has a stigma attached to it that no one wants to carry. In a culture and medical model that has no belief or effective therapeutic modalities to recovery, the deep conflicts left by sexual assault, in the mind and body of the person involved, the only choice has been to come to a point in development, where you can pull yourself up as a survivor. That is a big journey in itself. Yes, its definitely an improvement and implies taking back some power and has an element of fight about it. This is positive. Read More
15.01.2022 The trauma of sexual abuse is intense and may last for a life time but it can be treated successfully. See the FREE Video Here https://www.0s4.com/r/13TDBQ
15.01.2022 3 Telling the story is necessary for healing While there is such a lot of stigma and shame involved in letting people know you were sexually assaulted, due to worries about judgement and what people might think, it requires a lot to speak up on the matter. Being able to speak about it, has a place, especially if it is received well and validated. However, in my experience of over 20 years of working with people, Ive found that telling the story of a terrible event that youv...e endured, is not the answer to real healing. It does require courage, definitely, but going through what happened, unpacking it with friends or in therapy, is not helpful towards recovery. From a neurological perspective it leaves you tied to it as It reinforces the neural pathway developed during the situation, each time you do and frequently leads to re-traumatisation. This reinforces the feeling of being a victim. Read More See more

11.01.2022 Here is presentation I m doing at the jungian society on Thursday 6 February in Brisbane. Please come if you are free. St Marys church hall Kangaroo Point Healing through Collective Consciousness. Yildiz Sethi offers a presentation on the nature of the mind, consciousness and wellness as proposed by the curiosity and innovations of the original wave of psychoanalytic and psychodynamic giants and how this has developed into the present. She discusses developments in the scien...ce, neuroscience, epigenetics and quantum physics that have greatly contributed to where we are now in the new wave of psychotherapy that is available. Yildiz is the director and practitioner of Family Constellations and deeply involved in utilising Collective Consciousness for therapeutic outcomes for individuals and family. She explores Energy and how the links between the mind, generational mind and collective consciousness are demonstrated in the process of Family Constellations, showing that we are all connected. Within this she presents how collective consciousness known as the Knowing Field in Constellation terms, accesses the generational mind in unlocking trauma, unresolved emotional and psychological baggage to allow self-healing to take place for individuals and the family system. Yildiz shows the links between neuroscience, epigenetics and quantum physics providing evidence for healing nature of energy work through the collective unconscious. Showing how the mind and consciousness operates and has the capacity to heal. See more
09.01.2022 1 You cant recover from sexual abuse. The traditional approach which includes the medical model in Australia and in other parts of the world, is that recovery from sexual abuse is not possible. The medical model is largely influenced by their belief that once the brain or mind is broken, it cant be fully recovered. This belief goes back around 400 years according to Norma Doidge in his book The Brain That Changes Itself and has formed the basis of beliefs to the present,... even though neuroscience and epigenetics studies are showing this to be patently untrue. With this old belief grew ways of managing symptoms with cognitive behavioural therapies accompanied by medication by the traditional medical model consisting of doctors, psychologists and psychiatrists and evidence-based research. The problem with this system is that it is largely a closed shop that researches only its own approaches and is therefore not interested and aware of the efficacy of other approaches. Sexual abuse is a trauma that involves shock and the chemical and hormonal and chemical concoction of incomplete fight and flight responses. This leads to deep damage to self-esteem for not being able to defend or stand up for themselves or fight off assault appropriately. Read More See more
07.01.2022 7 Telling the story of your sexual abuse supports others. This may feel like the case when you are in it but this can end up as a collection of people telling their sad or tragic story and over time can overwhelm your view of the world. Terrible as it is and I know it can be really destroying on all levels, telling the story can keep us stuck. It can even become a bit of a competition around who can tell the most tragic story. Even worse it can cause vicarious trauma to others. Dont believe me. Consider, Has telling the story or hearing others stories really helped you in your recovery? No doubt it helped to feel heard and validated. You may have felt compassion and understanding form others. That has great value, but has it really helped you in recovery?

06.01.2022 8 Trauma damages you forever. This is a belief that is commonly held by many including the medical model. This used to be the case before we had the neuroscience and the psychotherapeutic approaches that we have now. The mind and body may discharge trauma if treated appropriately. The brain may rewire itself. Healing is possible. This may take as few as a few sessions only.... You don't have to continue to suffer. See Rapid Core Healing book
05.01.2022 Rapid Core Healing training took place on 11-13 December 2020 in Brisbane with a lovely group of people. If you are looking for a Rapid Core Healing practitioner near you, see our website for Trained with us.
02.01.2022 Is Sexual Abuse a life sentence? I am giving a presentation for those in the field of counselling, hypnotherapy, social work or psychotherapy or those are interested in entering this field, on solutions. This will include the latest findings in the treatment of trauma and in particular sexual abuse, that includes neuro science. I have been working very successfully in this area inadvertently for many years in my private practice, in that the underlying issues of a portion of ...my clients is undeclared sexual abuse. Many of them have never spoke of it previously, while others have sought full and extensive treatment and have been told years later that they are survivors, but in reality are a long way from recovery. In the Presentation I will draw on my knowledge as a pracademic and psychotherapist, clinical hypnotherapist and systemic Family Constellations therapist and trainer of twenty years, author in the field and founder of psychotherapies. This is a talk about not only the problems but also the solutions in therapeutic practice for fast effective outcomes for recovery. This presentation is an approved ACA Professional development event with OPD points for professionals in the field. The event is on 1 February 9-12 noon at Wynnum Brisbane, Qld 4178. For details and Booking into the presentation here.0412172300
