19.01.2022 New year and opportunities for growth of new things (including the self!). NYE at home with my family may have been a quite one but when I went to bed, I said to my husband ‘it feels eerie’. Too quiet. No happy laughter, no cars driving past beeping into the new year and no lights on. The energy was still. Felt like everybody breathed a big sigh of relief when the clock hit 12midnight. Don’t know how else to explain it. It just is.... 2021 is here and most of us have come into it with our eyes wide open waiting to see what it has in store for us. 10.01.2022 Scared of change? I think we all have had a bit of "WTF" moments in the last six months with sooooo many questions arising about what is in store for us in the 2nd half of 2020. So I ask, you get excited when you see a butterfly don't you? Funny how many butterflies the people around me have been pointing out (real butterflies that is). Maybe there's underlying message or omen from them that the beauty of change will reveal itself in good time. I'm hoping it happens sooner ...rather than later! The biggest thing for me has been patience at a different level. When something is at a stand still and out of my control, I've allowed myself to ask, question - is there a different avenue to upgrade what no longer works? Incredible when you take the time to reflect how the answers appear. They come in a variety of forms - other ideas form, someone sends me a link to an article that holds a clue, a book I'm reading or even something that comes up in conversation with others holds a lightbulb moment. Try it. You might be delightfully surprised Interesting times for all of us. Stay safe, healthy and nurture yourselves in what ever serves you best cause when the butterfly in you unfolds itself - you need to be able to have the strength to strut your stuff!!! We are almost through June and heavy discussions of weather patterns/Global Warming with all the Australian fires, drought, floods, COVID-19 followed by an outcry of change where Black Live Matter.
