25.01.2022 We are so grateful for the support of all who choose to shop locally directly with our farmers, makers and bakers. Thank you! What did you pick up today?

24.01.2022 Yes we are open tomorrow (Easter Saturday). The Toowoomba Farmers Market is on the corner of Campbell and Lindsay streets. We have an extensive range if precau...tions in place to make the market a safe way for you to shop for locally grown and produced vegetables, fruit, meat, eggs, other food products and a few treats like flowers, baking, wine and ready-to-eat takeaway food and coffee. With greater surveillance of government regulations about social distancing and essential shopping only, we rely on everyone to do the right thing so the market can continue. We do not have the crowds of the Brisbane markets but will be adding extra social distancing measures at the stalls. Last week we had 149 customers in the market at our busiest time over a very large area. Here’s what we are doing in addition to the measures we’ve had in place for several weeks: We are offering market boxes online to speed up shopping (orders shut off each Thursday night, so are closed for this week). Even though not all products are offered online as farmers are not always sure of quantities until Friday evening, many items can be ordered and the last few things can be bought quickly at the market. Keep this in mind for next week! We love children but they don't always stay 1.5m away from everyone. If it is at all possible could you leave the children at home please - we will have a big kids party at the market when this is all over. This is not the time for socialising so please shop and go home. Don’t stop for a chat if you run into people you know. We have takeaway coffee and food only. Please take home to enjoy. It’s great to see people taking advantage of the hand sanitiser and hand wash stations. Gloves are available for use. Please dispose of the gloves between each stall as they are not protection for you if you do not change them regularly. Please stand back patiently from stalls if you must wait to be served. You are outside in the fresh air please enjoy it as you wait. Everyone must take responsibility for social distancing from people who are not your family group. If someone comes close whether you are in a supermarket, walking your dog or at the market please move away. We are all in this together and at this time we need to be even more respectful of each other. Collection of online orders will be from 8am until 10am. You can drive through enter from Campbell St and drive straight ahead. The collection point will be on the left (western side) on the side of the TAFE oval. We wish all a very Happy Easter!
