24.01.2022 Prayer as a type of meditation: Believe it or not, we don't have to follow any religion in order for prayer to be helpful in our lives.. We can pray to anyone/anything! ... The universe, Mother Earth, our Guides, Loved ones who have passed, God, Angels, Plants, Animals etc.. Simply find a comforable, quiet place & take a moment to get your mind feeling present & in the moment. Then simply ask.. Ask for their guidance/support, then just let it all out! Goals, fears, concerns, endeavours, stories, regrets, adventures ANYTHING & EVERYTHING You can do this for a short time or as long as you'd like & it can be silently thought in your mind or out loud, whichever you're more comfortable with At the end be sure to give thanks & take another couple of moments to simply be & That's it! 23.01.2022 Some helpful info about crystals & essential oils! Do you use either in your everyday life..? Personally, amethyst & black tourmaline are commonly used in our place ... Amethyst for our bedrooms & black tourmaline generally sits by the tv As for essential oils, we use eucalyptus & lavendar oils frequently Eucalyptus for the shower/bath & mixed with coconut oil for a homemade chest rub for when we're unwell Lavendar mainly for the little guy in calming him before bedtime

12.01.2022 Do you struggle to find time to fit meditation into your daily life..? Well not all meditation requires you to be still & do nothing! Do you listen to music when you're showering..? How about when doing the housework..?... I know I do! There are HEAPS of guided meditations out there (youtube is a great start) Try putting one on in the background whilst doing one of the tasks that I mentioned above & see if you find it beneficial! 07.01.2022 The attitude of gratitude Did you know if you begin being grateful for the simple things in life, it can literally rewire your brain to think more positively! One of my personal goals this week is to change my perspective on things that make me feel stressed, upset, frustrated etc. ... And one of the best tips I have received is this little technique! If you’re struggling to think of things, begin small: Today I am grateful for... Waking up to a new day Being able to breathe & walk easily My family is healthy There’s food in the kitchen A roof over our head Running water So simple yet so powerful!
