23.01.2022 A bit like most things this year, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra's Prodigy Project looked a little different! Each student took part in a one hour Zoom tutorial with a QSO mentor prior to submitting their recording. They then received a professionally edited recording of their own performance alongside their QSO mentor. Double Bass student Harry said... 'This was a great opportunity to collaborate with a professional musician in a performance context, and to gain insight into how they interpret and present a piece. It was fantastic for my playing as we worked closely together on the same piece, which helped me to clearly see what I could work on and what I should aspire to'.

We will kick off with Murphy's Pigs in March followed by Bloom Sings in June, an Empire produced production in September and Tenori with a Christmas special in December!
