01.01.2022 The NSW Disability Inclusion Plan (NSW DIP) is currently being reviewed. We invite you to participate in the review via the Have your say survey. We also need your help to ensure the people in NSW have their say on the next plan and ask that you share this email with your networks, including people with disability, their families, carers, disability organisations and the community. ... About the NSW Disability Inclusion Plan: The NSW DIP sets out the whole-of-government goals that will support the inclusion of people with disability, and improve their access to mainstream services and community facilities. The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) is overseeing the NSW DIP on behalf of the Minister for Disability Services, the Hon. Gareth Ward MP. It is expected that the updated NSW DIP will retain the four focus areas that appear in the current NSW DIP. The four focus areas are: *Developing positive community attitudes and behaviours *Creating liveable communities *Supporting access to meaningful employment *Improving access to mainstream services through better systems and processes For further information contact: Ebru Sumaktas, Senior Policy Officer, Disability Inclusion Email: [email protected] Phone: 02 8753
